Seventh Region champion Trinity (33-5) will meet 8th Region titleist North Oldham (32-8) in Semi-State #4 at Eastern High School at 7:00pm on Saturday.

The Rocks took down archrival and perennial powerhouse St. X to claim their region crown. Sophomore Daylen Lile paces T with a robust .505 average and 37 RBIs.

For their part, the Mustangs boast a potent lineup that clubbed a state best 47 home runs.

Trinity defeated N. Oldham 11-5 back in April.

May be closer this time, but I think the Rocks are the hottest team in the state right now.

I don’t see N. Oldham pitching containing Trinity’s bats. Trinity advances.

I appreciate the sentiments but crazy things can happen in baseball, especially at this level.

No kidding. The baseball state tourney is crazy

Is there much seating at Eastern's field? Should we take lawn chairs tonight?
