Sorry for the confusion. My "toe touching the plate" addendum was to the play where the pitcher dekes the runner on 2nd into diving back where he is ultimately hit by the hit ball. What do you do with the batter and/or runners?

What assumptions are you making about the toe touching the plate?

Change it up slightly. Lets say when the batter swings, his front toe touches the inside of the plate. What do you do with the runners and the batter?

Partially correct. In this case as described, the runner on third can advance.

OK. I found the ruling and it makes sense. The interference is called ONLY if the catcher cannot make a play on the runner. Since he was able to, its assumed there was no interference. As you probably know, you're only protected when a ball hits you if you're a)in foul territory or b)standing on the base on and IFF.

The umpire blew that one.

Are we supposed to rate public vs private?

1. Batter out . Runners return. 2. First he should chuckle at the manager for screwing up the rule. He would then tell the offense to send up the correct batter who will inherit the count. 3.Batter out. Dead ball. Runner returns to 3rd base. 4.If its determined that its not a balk, the runner on 2nd is out due to being hit by the ball. Batter goes to first base.

Who will Arrez guard? I'd put him on the PG and completely shut down the offense.

What position will he play?

#33 is a very long kid with a very nice outside stroke. #30 is a very strong defender and is physically strong enough to get to the basket. The rest of the main players all look like they have the CHANCE to contribute somewhere down the road if they continue to work. Solid team. Not a great team but one that battles.
