First, with the clay areas, I try to remove as much of the turfus as possible. Wheelbarrow it off, cover it, and use it again next spring. Then I like to till the clay one good time, just to get it thouroughly mixed again. With the grass, I scalp the bermuda as low as possible, overseed with Lesco Brand rye, and topdress. I cover the mound and plate, and keep the seed moist until germination. After that, I water once per day for 10 days or so, then cut the water for 4 days. After that, I soak once every three days and fertilize and mow (a lot).

Classless is a harsh word to use. Pulaski just wants the opportunity to host Somerset, I would imagine. I don't agree with everything Hines said, but I don't know the whole story, either.

And yes, I know the money is split between the schools, but there has always been some rumblings at the county schools about the gate.

Obviously it wouldn't be called the Correll Bowl. Pulaski (and SW for that matter) would like to host Somerset at their fields for a change, instead of Somerset making all the cash.

These comments were made for three reasons: A. Hines was upset about Cobb's "Superbowl" comments following the game. B. The folks at Pulaski want a shot at hosting the Correll Bowl once their stadium is complete. C. Hines is trying to goad Somerset into playing again next year for obvious reasons.

I think Cole had two TD's, but it looks like Somerset may have trouble getting him the ball this season. Winston Hines and Chris Muse stole the show last night. Hines is ridiculous fast and shifty....and Muse isn't far behind.

Which is more hurtful: calling someone ridiculous or a soccer player?

Maybe off the subject, but with Somerset's success, why don't more of their kids go on to play college football?
