Pulaski is young but a lot of talent and speed. More than anything they are hungry to win, with all the young talent you will have some good weeks and some bad but i dont think Russell can handle them. Pulaski 34 Russell 14.:ylsuper:

Pulaski lost one of those youngsters last night in the PC/SWHS JV game. Freshman, Alex Abner, fractured his right ankle in the 1st Qtr & will miss some time.

If he fractured it, he would probably miss the majority of the season, wouldn't he?

I've seen both play, Russell County will not attempt to stop PC, not because PC is that good but because RC isn't.

Pulaski big, 42-13.

PC will be too much for the Lakers. Muse will have a field day on this defense. I say PC 54 RC 12. Russell won't score until PC puts its JV's in.

Abner is in a walking boot. Said it pulled his small leg bone away from the ankle. OUCH! He's looking at anywhere from 2-8 weeks. Said he should know more after going back to Dr. Wednesday. Let's all pray it is not as bad as first thought.

Actually, if you take a look at the skill players on this team, they ARE JV age & grade. This team is still a very young team. I hope they continue to gell. This could be a pretty good team in the future. After the last couple of years Pulaski has had it is refreshing to see the excitement back w/ these kids.
