Does anyone have any stats for this game??

Thanks guys, I know when I went I usually took 4 or 5 children with me. This is a excellent place for your children to get a basketball autographed. Over the years Elton Brand, O.J. Mayo, Bill Walker, Rajon Rondo, Carlos Hurt and Tubby Smith just to name a few. Oh yeah Chris Lofton:D This tournament is the best bang for your buck by far!!

How many BGP'ers will be attending these games??? I hope someone will volunteer to get me a few PM's with updates:sssh: I am now living in Lakeland Florida but I will miss this great tourney..I have attended the last 5 years straight this will be my first year missing one in a while:madman: :eek:

I stand corrected Neerfan:thumb: Brian Milburn was his name. My nehew Dewayne Stone and Scooter Arnold played with him. they were a very competitive team then!

Williamstown is a down cycle. They are one of several small schools who run in 10 or 20 year cycles. Just two seasons ago they gave a vey good Pendleton team a real scare at their home gym!! They have had several good athletes go through that program. Freddie Hale in the 70's , and I'm not sure of the name but Brian Evans who played at Vandy in the 80's and the coaches son Zach Mefford two years ago. When I was living back in Ky last year I never bothered going through that District ritual. I wish SK could skip playing those 32nd district foes and pick back up the NewCath,Highlands and Bishop Brossart games.

LABS, you are right on the money here!! SK had no choice whatsover in the realignment to the 8th region:thumb: I think it would be redicoulous for anyone to think that because a neighboring region was a little weaker that they would prefer to change to that one. SK still remains to this the only 9TH region team to bring back the state crown.

Jordan is a sophomore. I know his parents and if you had the means and were able, I suspect there are a lot of parents who would send their child to a school such as "Highlands". I wish Jordan nothing but the best. Go get,em Jordan!!

Yes this is the kid! I coached him in elementary basketball in Grant County. He is a excellent shooter. Do you have any stats? Is he starting??

Mike is real disruptive to the guards bringing the ball up the court and I for one think that he has D-1 passing ability . You have to admire a 5' 8' guard who is as ball tough and as saavy as he is. I know Mike isn't going D-1 but I think that he has the ballhandling skills and passing ability, he just unfortunately doesn't have the size.

WOW!!! I really thought that SK had a real chance in this game any stats on Hester?? I thought that not having to play against Duran Jefferson would be huge for him tonight.

Hey guys I am in Florida jonesing for some updates. Does anyone know if there is a webcast of this game???

I for one am a huge Mike Hester fan. I think not having to play against Duran will make Mike a factor in this game. The whole Tar Heel think and the talking drove Mike's passion to exceed over the edge!! This game is at the "Joe" right?? I really think this is a type of game SK needs to win to define this season. I think if SK wins this will determine what type of team they will be sending to the 5th 3rd tournament, and what will propel them to win the 8th region and go to Rupp this year. I hope someone will provide me with updates on this game as I am now living in Florida. I optimistically predict a 2 point win for the Neers!!:thumb:

Hey Neerfan I would like to know more about Hester as well. I think the last time I checked on here he had a stress fracture on the growth plate of his right foot. Mason county fans would know who he was if he was his usual self, he is very pesky defensively. Good luck to Mason County the rest of the way and I would love to see them both play again at Rupp.

I have never seen Dan play until tonight and I can say that he needs to do a lot of work this summer to see any PT at Morehead State!

On a sidenote Rajon Rondo attended this game! His sister was playing for the Ky. Allstars!!

Yes it is over I left with three minutes to go with Ohio leading by 28!!! I lost interest after Owens was ejected. I was really impressed with his skills!! I could see him walking on at a D1 school!!

I was impressed with Antonio Owens play but overall I never saw this whipping coming!!! Antonio had a run in with a Ohio player and was tossed from the game.. I essentiallty losty interest from that point on. I thought the Ohio coaches managed their rotations a lot better than Kentucky's coaches...Anyone???

Thanks for the late info...they did have the contests last night and the admission was free!! I would have taken 6 or 7 kids to watch them if I would have known in time!! Last year the contests were held the Friday before at CovCath!!

Does anyone know if they are having the slam dunk, three point shooting, and one on one contests Friday night at CovCath???
