Does anyone know if they are having the three point shooting and dunk contests the night before at CovCath??

Darryl Dawkins from Orlando Fla. He got the eaties for his wheaties, before he went for the big slam dunkies!!

I attended this game last year for the first time. I believe the Friday before the game they have a 3 point shooting and Dunk and One On One contest atCCath. The next night Saturday they play the two games,girls first and then boys. The games are played at Thomas More.

The best sign I saw all year was at the 171 exit at Walton Verona on I-75. I was getting off and I noticed a guy holding a cardboard sign that said "I am not going to lie to you ,it is for the beer"

My favorite game was the Mason County win over Warren Central.

This is coming up soon isn't it. I know the first night they have the three point contest and the Slam Dunk contest at Cov Cath. Can anyone from CovCath fill us in??

I saw Travis Ford at the Sweet Sixteen last week. Shame Clark lost to Mason, or he could have seen him firsthand!!

There is no way that tournament has been more competitive than the 5th 3rd year in year out!!

Mustang I am definitely with you on this one. The 5th 3rd is the far superior product. I have heard rumors that SK is playing in both the KOB and the 5th 3rd this next season. I have never ventured to Louisville for any of their tournaments, so I can't comment about them accurately. I definitely think that the Sweet Sixteen is way over rated and over priced!! I say this because I usually have at least 5 or 6 boys with me. theSweet Sixteen easily costs me 300.00 to 400.00 each day. I have see Elton Brand and O.J. Mayo and Taureen Green and Rajon Rondo play at Lexcath. I say the 5th 3rd is definitely my favorite!!

I think if Eugene Wade developes a offensive game over the summer they will be a tough out in the 8th region!!!

You never know about Holmes, they do have the talent in place to definitely make it to Rupp next season!! I wouldn't count out Highlands either they always reload!!

Simon Kenton,CovCath,Holmes, and Shelby County will be in the mix.

That is sad but true Jim. Louisville could very easily divert the Ohio river and become a part of Indiana as far as the rest of Kentucky feels about them!This bias has been in place as far back as I can remember!!

I can honestly say that the CCH cheering section was the hit of Rupp. I was in the corner next to Apollo's section and and CovCath's section was louder that they were!! Nice job guys. Your team came up a little short but I think there is a real good chance CovCath will return next year!!:thumb: Now on a sidenote my next post will be my 666th I hate this number so I think I will post something about Shelby County since they bounced my beloved Pioneers!!

Gary Coleman for Mason played huge in the 4th quarter. I think that was what his name was, at least that is what Warren Central's cheering section was calling him!!
