NEERFAN Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Tony Key from R'ville declared for the draft a few years back but never made it, I believe he actually transferred to a school in California for his Sr. season though.
Just Jim Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 The closest I can think of is Tony Key out of Russelville about 10 years ago. I don't think he played his senior year in Ky, but I think he put his name in the draft. Don't think he was drafted. So, i guess he did go pro, just not sure if he ever played pro ball.
cshs81 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I think Victor Cline from SK in 98, and Glazier from Highlands. I am pretty sure they both went into the draft right out of high school. I know Glazier only made it to AA and he just quit playing this year, and they are saying Victor should make it to AAA this year. Wrong forum. You're talking baseball.
FairFan Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Wrong forum. You're talking baseball. :thumb: :thumb: I just saw that.LOL
cshs81 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Lebron James went pro out of high school. Is Akron in KY?
Devilman Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Ohio. I get what your question. right this about Ky, but he was the only one I could think of that went pro from high school.
FairFan Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I get what your question. right this about Ky, but he was the only one I could think of that went pro from high school. Are you talking about anyone, or the only one from the tri-state?
Devilman Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Are you talking about anyone, or the only one from the tri-state? The only person I know of period, I don't know of any from KY that went pro from high school here in the bluegrass unless it was before my time.
