  1. Can someone close to what is happening in Shelby maybe shed some light on what might of led to the termination of the coach? Had there been issues in the classroom? Issues on the field.
  2. Fired from Coaching and Teaching?
  3. What type administration support is there?
  4. Franklin County has to repeat what they did to Bryan Station and that was find a way to run the football and shorten the game while limiting the Rebels possessions.
  5. Close early but Raceland wears down KCD to win by 21.
  6. Any word coming out Hazard. I'm hearing former Pikeville assistant is interested in returning to Mountains.
  7. When was last time Ludlow played for Regional Title? I'm pulling for Ludlow. But KCD runs the clock.
  8. Bardstown lacks enough fire power to compete. Flyers roll running clock.
  9. Raceland is an upper tier Class A program and deserve to be mentioned as one. But like Hard Work stated Sayre is in year 4 of Varsity football and building something in Lexington. I wouldn't knock Raceland and I think it is unfair to knock Sayre. Both programs are in different phases of development. Raceland is physical and that is number one issue Sayre will have to overcome. I am not sure if Sayre can play 48 minutes in the phonebooth with Raceland. As for Sayre they will do a great job scheme wise on offense and put Raceland in some uncomfortable situations. They have some skill kids and a kid at QB that is having a great year. Sayre depth concerns me. Raceland travels to Sayre and the Spartans are comfortable at home. This could be the best game in Class A Friday night.
  10. Sayre is solid. They did what they wanted to do, when they wanted to do it.
  11. Thought could go either way. Never thought it would be like this.
  12. There is no excuse for this, coaches and AD's know based on the rules. If you start punishing coaches instead of kids wouldn't be any issues.
  13. Flyers at home throughout the playoffs. Paducah on 4 1/2 bus drive after Turkey day. Flyers win.
  14. Flyers need to clean up their mistakes. Based on the teams in the West, Flyers should end up at Kroger Field.
  15. Based on what I have learned had few kids up front out last night. Played a lot young guys.
  16. Schools first ever District title.
  17. Flyers rolled and if not mistaken will have the number 1 overall seed and home field throughout the playoffs based on RPI.
  18. Got to see Sayre for the first time this season. Very impressed with their team. Very well coached and disciplined. They have about 45 kids on their roster. Really decent size. I was really impressed with their skill positions they have some really nice-looking players. As for the game. Appeared Sayre did what they wanted to for the most part. Couple penalties stalled a few drives, score could have been worse. Frankfort to their credit fought early but over the period of the game just wore down. Frankfort just lacks discipline and still making same foolish penalties. Frankfort has some talented skill guys and made few nice plays. Talked to Sayre parent last night the school will look to claim their first ever District Championship next week at Eminence. I had forgotten Sayre only in their 4th year of varsity football.
  19. Somerset as by as many as they want. Clevenger has to remember he is responsible for 1 team and that is his team. He needs to coach his team hard and whatever the score turns out to be is responsibility of the Danville coaching staff.
  20. Big Fan of what Paris is doing. I think Paris will struggle with the physical style of Raceland. Game will be close early but Raceland will separate themselves late.
  21. Frankfort picks up big district win at home last night. This game showed what this team should have been all year long. I know they didn't have their starting QB due to injury. But first half rolled up big numbers and held on for the win. I think Frankfort is better than their record. Eminence isn't as good as their record. What is unfortunate that Frankfort has couple kids that continue to get unsportsmanlike penalties that have hurt the team. What is even worse is that couple of the kids have dads on staff. I hope Coach Davis can correct this next week they play a well-disciplined team in Sayre.
  22. Hats off to the Flyers. They kept it together. Shot their own foot throughout the night. Will admit the last 2 minutes of the game left me puzzled by the Southwestern coach decisions.
