I agree, it's an interesting game.  Start of the season I would have gone SW but Franklin keeps on winning.  Got a lot of fight in them.  

I think FC is better give me them by 13.

Same. I think the Warriors have a slight edge in competition on the schedule and this one's at the 'Reservation'. 

And frankly, I haven't actually laid eyes on Franklin County. I anticipate Lake Cumberland Sports streaming the game, so hopefully I'll get a chance this week.

Southwestern's got some dudes up front, as well. Should be a fierce battle to control the line of scrimmage. Looking forward to seeing who gets the better of it.

I have watched both of these teams play this season and man do they have a lot of similarities. Starting with history, both teams are coming off of respective region titles. Next, SW runs the ball 75% of the time whilst Franklin County runs the ball a comparable 69%. Furthermore, Southwestern has scored 34.6 PPG compared to the Flyers 34.0 PPG. By the eye test, these teams are strikingly similar in size, strength, and speed. While it may come by different means, both teams are going to try to do the same thing; out-physical the competitor. The vibe (if you will) of both squads is indistinguishable.  

The difference, in my opinion, lies in the defense. Franklin County's defense has been very, very good all season, while the Warriors D took a few weeks to get settled. I'm not sure who wins this game, but it should catapult the victor into the remainder of district play and into the playoffs. This is a huge RPI game for both teams and I cannot wait for Friday night.
