They are actually starting renovations as soon as the season is over. New turf, indoor, etc.

They did get some lucky breaks, especially with penalties. But, they also forced some big turnovers and had a huge, huge defensive stand inside the 10 up 1 score. Great win for the Gators.

SW will load it up to stop the run and probably will. Huff is gonna have to throw it better against SW than he did BG. The offensive line is gonna have to give him more time.

Yes , it would make them bigger and faster to beat BG. Just stop with this stuff.

He single-handedly kept them in the game for 2 1/2 qtrs. The pick he had was top 10 worthy. If I’m not mistaken, he might have caused the 2nd BG fumble as well. He is legit. I hope he gets the statewide postseason recognition he deserves.

Facilities. Here’s an example. I played baseball at GW 91-92 (1st 2 yrs of school opening) and we literally practiced in gym or front parking lot. We took bp on a field exactly 1 time ALL YEAR. Football played home games at W East. SW had Experienced coaches in most sports that came from GW. I really could go on and on.

Yes, they did things the right way when the school was built, in all sports.

I’ve seen almost every game these 2 teams have played. It’s always come down to 2 things. Depth and speed, with speed always devastating GHS. Depth isn’t really an issue anymore. I’ve seen some really good GHS teams get manhandled by some better BG teams. For several years now, the mental hump is huge. Last year’s playoff game is a perfect example of that. GHS had opportunities to win that game. I love my Gators, but I think BG wins.

Bailey, Parsley, Button and Huff all sophomores starting this year at their respective schools. Really bright futures for all of them.

Well I don’t believe McCoy was doing that. I’d have to have proof. I do know Buttry acted a little bad throughout the game. He doesn’t need to do that stuff. He’s a stud on the court. Fans don’t need to see flexing after his makes, or his stares at the opposing bench and fans. I hope emotions were getting the best of him (hopefully he doesn’t normally do that stuff). Back to the game. The 1st 4 minutes beat Gwood. It was catch up the rest of the way. BG answered every run that was made. Buttery got the ball late and hit his free throws. They were the better team.

Greenwood’s team this year has something a lot of their teams over the last several didn't have. No fear of WC or BG. The leadership at the top starts it, and those 8 seniors play with it.

I think it’s the best case scenario for Greenwood (for sure), and probably BG as well. Not having to play WC 1st round at their place.

BG played well and hit their free throws in the 4th qtr.
