That kid is one great football player. High motor and hits like a truck!

Rio Litmer, Max Gabbard, Isaac Norman and several others played well for HHS. HHS line was really good on both sides of the ball 2nd half. Great Crossing is a really good Team, and will win many games this year.

To be clear, this is Coach Sphire’s 2nd Season at HHS, not 3rd like I’ve seen here a few times. He is 18 months into his tenure and is going to suffer some lumps. Better days are ahead.

Somebody was watching a different Freshman scrimmage than me. To say that Ryle is 3-4 touchdown’s better based on what went on last night is absurd at best. HIghlands line was clearly the bully in both the Frosh and Varsity matchups last night. Highlands Feshman line was able to push Ryles off the line almost every play. This will be a fun matchup on all levels this season.

Incorrect. We don’t have chicken nuggets at HHS. We have a Sushi Bar. Lol!

Uninspiring by both teams to say the least.

Terrible football.

People ask questions. Just giving them answers and unfortunately those answers involve looking back to what caused the problem. Nobody likes throwing people under the bus, but if you want the truth……..well….. you get it sometimes.

I have NEVER heard that from people in the know. There have been several classes in recent years that were not as strong as people thought, but the talent that was there was definitely not coached up and made to push themselves hard in the off season by the former staff and it showed. There was plenty of talent around to not lose to teams they shouldn’t and to make a few runs in the playoffs. It was painfully obvious how little time was spent in the weight room the last several years. That is now changing and it will take time to show up on the field.

No worries. Help is definitely on the way in the lower grades and middle school. The 8th grade alone has 60 kids playing football. We’ll be just fine starting next year after these boys hit the weight room hard under coach Sphires program and those in the know are excited for what’s to come, including the Coaching staff.

That is great, isn’t it?

Good game by the Raiders. Enjoy it while you can. Help is on the way for the Birds in a big way very soon.

Good game by the Birds. Great things are happening and it’s very apparent that EVERYONE has bought in. You need look no further than this past Wednesday night watching both The Sphire’s standing right behind the two 3rd/4th grade teams playing their first game of the season with the HHS head man and the HHS OC right there to cheer both teams on and offer encouragement. Actually standing on the field scouting for the future and it was very appreciated by this parent. This never happened under the last regime. Never even saw them at games.

That’s what HS football is all about right there!

Yes, I have an 8th grade HHS player and they have a lot talent and will definitely hold their own against anybody in NKY this year and Next.

Neither one won it and both lost to Covcath with HHS Blue losing to Covcath in the Championship game to the Colonels. Woe won’t know Haire good the 8th graders will truly be until they are Freshman, but all signs point to an excellent Freshman class in 2022.

Exactly. And I don’t see anything but positive messages on his social media. People are crazy trying to tear down one of our own, even if he is a little bitter. We would probably all feel the same way. ( which I don’t get from his social media anyway)
