  1. Meade County struggled immensely offensively. The Dragons defense limited Meade to 40 total yards of offense.
  2. 26-0 was the final here with South Oldham winning.
  3. Meade Co QB sacked. 4th down and probably 25. Meade Co has not yet gotten a first down.
  4. Meade OL struggling with the South Oldham defensive line. 3rd and really long for the green wave.
  5. Juelz Davila scores via the triple option to put the Dragons up first. PAT blocked. 6-0 South Oldham early in the 1Q.
  6. Dragons moving the ball now inside the Meade 20.
  7. Will do my best to update the score throughout the night. Wasn’t able to make it to the game but hoping the hudl live stream holds up.
  8. Saw on X that big time recruit Kellan Hall is out tonight for CAL. Big loss for them but still don’t see any way CAL loses this game.
  9. Curious @Tigerpride94 if freshman Gavin Carwile is getting any playing time on the X o line. He is the only freshman listed on their varsity roster. Went to South Oldham for middle school and I know the family. Great kid and family, wish he was playing for South Oldham High but I can’t help but root for the kid at X.
  10. I was able to take a look at South Oldham for the first time on Friday against East Jessamine and liked what I saw. They were dominant against the Jags on both sides of the ball. Juelz Davila has moved from safety to inside linebacker and provides a little more speed which has lacked at the position in previous years. Louisville commit DL Sam Dawson has added some size in the offseason and will garner a double team virtually every play. With that being said South Oldham still has room to work defending the pass which killed them last season. Track athlete Kolade Dada adds some speed and size at 6’3+ to the receiving core. The offensive line is young but has great size. If they can give the push up front to run the ball effectively I think we could be looking at a shoot out. I really don’t know much about Meade County but being a fan I’ll take South Oldham 35-28.
  11. I heard Bryan Station was beat pretty handily by North Oldham yesterday. While North Oldham will likely be improved, that is a terrible sign for a 6A program trying to get into the state title conversation.
  12. I think people may be downplaying Collins. They returned 11 starters on offense from last season and their QB and is a legit D1 FBS prospect.
  13. I saw Anderson play South Oldham the past two years and they were by far the best team on their schedule. I’m sure Anderson lost a lot but they’ll just reload with transfers like last season. I think Cooper will find some success offensively but I have a hard time seeing them stop the Raptors. 42-21 Anderson.
  14. South Oldham backups in to start the 3Q. EJ varsity starters still in. Call it 35-7 final for the varsity starters in 2 quarters of play.
  15. Half time Dragons up 35-7. Not sure if Varsity will continue in the 2nd half but that is likely it for me. Like what I saw from South Oldham.
  16. Dragons score again. Mostly getting work on the ground. Dragons up 35-7. 1 min left in the 1st half.
  17. Dragons score with the triple option. Glad to see it isn’t going away. 28-7 South Oldham up.
  18. South Oldham with the INT and then quick drive to score again. 21-7 Dragons in the 2Q.
  19. South Oldham returns the kick off for a TD. Dragons up 14-7. South Oldham is yet to run an offensive play. They’re certainly letting East Jessamine utilize the play clock which allowed them to eat up the entire 1Q.
  20. South Oldham up 7-0 early after a pick six.
  21. He is showing on their roster so not sure if these Scott County guys know something we don’t.
  22. Expect a solid season for Oldham County this year. Large senior class with a little under 30 seniors but first year in Coach Reed’s system so I expect some growing pains. Extremely tough district with Trinity and Ballard. Will likely be competitive in all games with the exception of those two.
  23. Curious @Purple88, did Coach Jamie Reed bring the triple option with him to OC?
