They have a new turf field where the old track was below the old football field. They have sunk a lot of money into upgrading their facilities. The Lakers have struggled the past decade, but has had some solid teams over the years.

I am being told there will be an announcement today that it’s Levi Rogers.

Any news on the actual coaching hire? I'm hearing rumors of Levi Rogers being contacted and that he is taking the job, but that is just rumors at this point.

I kept hearing this was gonna happen last season. This just made Adair Co. dangerous and I agree with @Westernside, the favorite in district 2. Lane Grant at RB, Jessie throwing to Stonebreaker, they are gonna be tough!

Is the Turner kid good enough yet to move into the starting role as QB? I have been told that there was a QB transferring in. The person didn’t mention a name or from where, so it could all be a bunch of bologna.

This will get ugly in a hurry. CAL is simply the best team and beat the best of the rest the last two games.

Casey had their chance even with 4 turnovers. I sure didn't expect it to be a close game, but the Rebels made a game of it in the second half closing the gap to 4 at the beginning of the fourth quarter to 17-13. Casey would hold the Rockets inside the 5 and the Rockets kicked a 20 yard field goal to go up 20-13. Rockets would seal the deal with just over 2 minutes remaining with a 35 yard run to go up 27-13.

This should be a good game, but I give a slight edge to Glasgow.

I’ll be pulling for the Eagles, but it will be a very tough game.

Chad Griffin at Hart County should be in the conversation. He has led his team to a 9-0 start and the school’s first district title while beating Glasgow and Franklin Simpson to do so. They have a good shot at playing for a regional title. They have another test this Friday against undefeated Campbellsville, and if they take care of business, they will finish 10-0 for the first time ever as well. I’m not a Hart County fan what so ever, but he has done a great job there.

I believe Campbellsville is right where they should be. Until they lineup against Raceland or Pikeville and beat them, they should stay where they are at IMO. The Eagles are very good and I’m not trying to take anything away from them. I am rooting for them against the Raiders!
