I would reach out to the Middle School feeder Head Coach and try and lure him to the High School to try and keep some of those kids.

Better job than it was before. Could be a decent gig for a young assistant trying to establish himself or an older coach wanting one last ride at a place with low expectations.

Western Kentucky teams I can give you some run downs 2A-4A 2A Mayfield loses a TON off of this years team. Going to be interesting to see how they replace them. Caldwell County has a nice group returning and an amazing 8th grade class from what I have been told. I could see them knocking Mayfield from their WKY throne 3A Still think Paducah is the class of this district. Union would be my number 2 team with what they return 4A Hopkinsville returns 13 starters with 8 of those on Offense including big time WR Reece Jesse. I think the Tigers could make a run to Thanksgiving weekend this year Logan County returns some nice pieces but loses their QB & RB who were their heart and soul. Adler does a great job and they will be a tough out capable of getting out of the district. Madisonville loses a boatload of seniors and may have to take a year to regroup and reload. This years Senior Class was special.

From where I was sitting at in Kroger Field which was around the 30 yard line on the Mayfield side, it looked like PI to me. Tough call but definitely contact. The play that gave the Jumpers life was the play before the pass interference that got them about 40 yards on the wheel route. I thought Mayfield’d DB’s were way too close and should have been deeper to prevent that. Most underrated player of the game had to be #17 from Mayfield. He made tons of clutch plays in this game. Losing Neely was a huge blow to the Cards and maybe affected them more on defense because Neely is a ball-hawk. All in all that was one heck of a football game.

That one call didn’t win or lose the game for Desales. Nothing to see here, can’t tell one way or the other.
