Mayfield scored only 3 offensive TD’s against Hopkinsville early this season and that was without Hopkinsville’s best defensive player. PT may win but I don’t see Tilghman scoring 35 on them being a run dominate team which is Hopkinsville’s Defensive strength. Could be wrong though.

Mayfield played Hopkinsville early in the season and trailed all game until a late 4th quarter rally to win 27-22, the lowest point total they have had all season I believe

Exactly right imo. If all things are equal he would definitely be the best option without knowing much about the QB situation. I would wonder if PT would keep that under wraps until needed because they have more important games than this week coming up in my opinion.

Agree with you purple. Read last week on here that Paducah’s Starting QB could be out for a few weeks. No clue who their backup is or if he is a capable passer. Will be the difference in this game as Hopkinsville Run D is legit. Have to attack them through the air where they have been susceptible at times.

Can Mayfield get limit the Madisonville run game enough to get their high powered offense on the field. Going with the upset here Madisonville 28 Mayfield 27.

This game will come down to who can slow down the other teams bread & butter & make the other team do things they aren’t comfortable with doing. Can Hopkinsville slow Paducah’s run game? Can Paducah limit Hopkinsville’s pass game? Could come down to if Paducah can throw the ball enough to keep Hopkinsville Defense honest & if Hopkinsville can run enough to keep Paducah Defense honest. Hopkinsville 27 Paducah 21

Hopkinsville WR Reece Jesse had 4 receptions for 158 yards & 3 TD’s in the first half last week.

I actually see The following results for district 1 in week 11 South Warren over Logan Hoptown over Paducah Mayfield over Madisonville. After that it will depend on what your opponents do. I also think Corbin knocks off Wayne County this week. District 2 belongs to Franklin Simpson. District 3 is a toss-up. Ultimately, nothing will stop a Boyle County/Johnson Central State Final & a Boyle County State title..

I think they get one against Russellville in week 11.. Where the game at this week?

Maurice Jesse Jr from Hopkinsville, Neely from Mayfield, & McCracken County WR are pretty daggone good as well. Jesse being only a JR but with quite a few FBS Power 5 offers already.

Looking at District 1, Logan has a great shot to get the 1, but need help. Madisonville HAS to beat Mayfield & Hoptown HAS to beat Paducah to have a chance at the 1 seed.. I think Hopkinsville takes down PT but the Madisonville/Mayfield game will make Madisonville either the 1 or the 3.. I went with the upset pick here in Caldwell. I feel they have played the tougher schedule & they will make enough plays on defense & on special teams to pull this one out.

Macdon I honestly don’t see any way that FS doesn’t get to the 3rd round this year. I don’t have any faith in that district to threaten them.

According to the current RPI, most of the top RPI teams are in the east side of the state. I agree with FS. They are champions and have a winners mentality. Sometimes that means more than current talent imo. FS kids are used to winning & expect nothing less. They will not be an easy out.

No. Don’t see it. I think the Final 4 teams in 4A this year will be Boyle, Johnson Central, Louisville Central, & one of Madisonville/Logan/Hoptown.
