  1. The defending state champion Highlands Bluebirds kick off their basketball season on Tuesday 11/30 by hosting the Walton-Verona Bearcats. Hard to replace the Player of the Year Sam Vinson and big sharp shooter Luke Muller, but Highlands brings a lot back from last year, William Herald (13), Zach Barth (10) and Oliver Harris (8). Walton-Verona returns 3 double figure scorers in Brant Smithers (20), Cameron Christy (11) and Carter Krohman (11). This should be an exciting and very evenly matched game. It will be a PACKED house in Ft. Thomas so you can watch this game for FREE as always, on (859) Sports Radio!!
  2. Anyone interested in watching the archive of this game can watch it on (859) Sports Radio.
  3. Look for Hailey to be sporting an original (859) shirt.
  4. The best! Nothing like a burger that hangs over the bun by two inches. And made with extra care by Frank Hicks, and as always, taken care of my my favorite concession worker of all time Rachelle Noah. Sad it was too cold for Hailey, as she's always the highlight of any trip to Beechwood.
  5. I thought the best burger of the night was going to be the I got from the concession stand. Until I saw Mitchell run for 189. He was my x-factor in the pregame, but holy cow he's a strong running.
  6. My Meridix support guy: Hi Mark, We're fully Apple friendly on all browsers, Safari/Firefox/Chrome/etc and hardware platforms iOS/MacOS/iPhone/iPad, etc. We're also Apple AirPlay enabled for additional device support. Users should be able to click and play without any download required.
  7. Does Saddle Club have a smart TV and do they intend to stream the game live there?
  8. I'm asking my support guy at Meridix what they recommend. I suggest going to watch it at Dickmann's lol
  9. I encourage everyone to patronize Dickmann's Sports Cafe and Smoke Justis, owned by Richard Dickmann, the sponsor of our broadcast this week. Can't thank Richard enough, a true lover and supporter of High School sports.
  10. I'm very very thrilled to let everyone know that (859) Sports Radio will be streaming live video and audio Friday night at Beechwood for this epic 2A matchup!!!!!!! Thank to Ryan Booth the AD at Beechwood for making this happen!!!
  11. Here's the Trinity at Ryle game if you want a sampling of what we do.
  12. We are waiting to hear back from Beechwood to see if we can broadcast with streaming video. If you want high quality and unbiased announcers, that's what (859) Radio strives for. If we root for anything it's a great game. We should get our wish with this one. I have a pretty good feeling we will be able to considering how awesome and accommodating the Beechwood administration is. I think when you have a program like Beechwood's the more the merrier and the more options the better. We will broadcast from the parking lot of we have to. And if I can't get a sponsor, I'll buy my wife an early Christmas present and pay for it myself. lol
  13. Coach Matney's family and Golden Eagle Nation in the thoughts and prayers of all of us at (859) Sports Radio.
  14. I believe it was 32-33 yards. On a cold night also. She also had two onside kicks that went through legs of or just mishandled by Ryle players. Some of the best onside kicks i've seen.
  15. VOR all BGP members who follow HS Football owe you a huge thanks for your work on providing us game previews. The work that goes into these is VERY MUCH appreciated. You save us all so much time in researching teams in big games. I personally have benefited with my own broadcasts. This is an amazing summary of, as you said, the most anticipated matchup in the playoffs. You're really great at this.
  16. We loved bringing it to the fans!! This will blow you away. This game was the 4th closest game in the state tonight. CCH was the 3rd closest. Can’t believe all the blowouts even in the 3rd round.
  17. If there's there's a better indicator as to the direction of Trinity this season I'd like to see one better than the Ballard games. Trinity beat them 20-17 on October 8th and 40-0 last week. I'd say they are peaking at the right time.
  18. Check out this preview by Head Coach Jay Cobb. Seems to be playing out the way they thought it would all along. Defending 2020 KHSAA State Team Champions Coach Cobb: “We graduated 20 of 22 starters from last year’s state championship team and we face arguably the toughest schedule that Trinity has faced in my eight years at Trinity! Yet, we are excited to face these challenges. Our goal is to improve each and every week going into the playoffs and make that playoff run! Our players understand the expectations and embrace them.”
  19. Savage and Belk are one of the top linebacking tandems in the state. They better be Friday.
