Ryle Freshman beat Conner Freshman 48-6 last Thursday.

Sorry you can’t accept that one team had more points, but it’s a fact. Don’t think it means much to either team. Good luck this season.

Just watched the game. Only 1 FG by Beechwood in the 1 quarter. Don’t think teams usually kick FG’s during 10 play format. As an example, Ryle threw a pick in the end zone on their 10th play from the 9 yard line. Might be getting confused with their extra points.

Beechwood kicked a FG during the timed quarter, not the 10 play format. Ryle won because there was a scoreboard that kept the score during the quarter. Again, Ryle won 7-3 w/ a missed FG that would have been 10-3. Looked like Ryle controlled that session. They technically tied during the 10/10 format, but Ryle had a TD called back. I agree it was fairly even, but Ryle won without 4 key players.

Any way you look at it, Ryle won. 2-2 with the 10 play. Ryle also had a long TD called back. After the 10/10 format, they ran a full quarter and kept score. Ryle won 7-3 while missing a short FG. Both offenses were vanilla. Ryle was playing without both their DE’s, a starting LB, and Safety. Great scrimmage for both teams. Beechwood’s new additions to the field are really nice. Great venue!

Lol, don’t get the feeling the coaches love 7v7. They certainly don’t practice it regularly. They should be balanced this year. Have a strong line and a few strong RB’s led by Savage. Best part of the event for me is walking around and watching a lot of KY’s best up close. Great talent everywhere.

Ryle went 6-1 losing to a good looking Paducah Tillman team. 30-27. Beat Oldham Co, Freddie Douglas, PRP, Mercer Co, Cal 2, Ballard. Verax looked great playing w/out his #1 WR. Fun day! EKU does a great job running the event.

Not my thread, friend. Just passing information along. But probably a good idea to leave if reading posted scores bothers you that much.

Nobody is presuming anything and everyone understands the results mean very little when they "put the pads on." However, this is 7v7 season and this topic is specifically for the folks interested in 7v7 discussions. I suspect you'll see a lot more results and information coming after this week is over.

Saw some good action yesterday. Ryle went 4-0, Highlands 3-1, Beechwood 2-2. Not sure about the other 2. Verax, Litmer, and Hayden all 3 looked sharp.

Side note. When he was the Head Coach at SK, Noel Rash was an assistant for a year or 2.

I think Ryle got significantly better too. Bryan Station certainly got better as well.

Bryan Station is significantly better than Cooper, CovCath, BG, and CAL (Highlands too). As a Ryle fan, we got to see all of those teams up close (except BG). Different levels to this game and those teams aren't on their level.

From what I’ve seen on film, Station deserves to be the favorite in this one. Ryle has their hands full with a potent run game and great athletes at the WR positions. Hoping the Raiders keep it close and find a way to pull another one out in the end!
