  1. Is this moisture tracking more for Saturday than Monday now? Going to get ripped off on the snow again!
  2. What does MLB do? What CAN MLB do as far as stopping it? Technology isn't leaving anytime soon.
  3. I would also think that there is more "competition" among the other sports for the athletes with the other sports competing at a high level as well. I know during some of Dale's years baseball/basketball weren't overly dominant. (I have no idea about soccer which someone else mentioned earlier) However, the one thing I've gathered from this thread is I'm an outsider and wouldn't understand so who knows.
  4. Thanks for the heads up NWO! Any consistency with how this stuff is tracking or is it too early to tell?
  5. It's definitely out of the norm. I can see that mode of thinking.
  6. No. Why not just pick Burrow there? He's going to at the very least be equal on the talent front (and probably better) all while being a whole lot less look at me than Baker Mayfield.
  7. I'd love to see Evans get the max 5 yr sentence and Mr. Bailey get the probation.
  8. Baseball and basketball have been pretty successful lately. Do they have any academic impact?
  9. What "removal period"? It sounds like you're discussing teacher tenure, which is a thing, for teachers. It simply means there are more steps to be taken to remove him from the teaching position than would be needed before, but he can certainly be removed. As far as coaching, there is not a removal period. He could coach the next 14 years, and if after that 20th year in his tenure they decided he is not the right guy he can be relieved of his coaching duties.
  10. No dog in the fight here, but maybe administration have a thousand other things to worry about in 2019 other than firing a football coach who everyone admits is a great guy, has a winning record in 6 years and is one year removed from a 10-3 record. It's not all about W's and L's anymore. Yes, they matter, but not nearly as much as they used to. Look around the state, or even the country, in today's day and age and this still rings true.
  11. I look forward to the long range, but I'm not holding my breath. My absolute favorite past time is to have the fireplace going, a Manhattan in hand and watching it snow out the window. I've been cheated the past 2 years.
  12. You reckon we're ever going to get any kind of significant snow here in NKY? I know some guys are enjoying the lack of winter thus far, but I feel slighted!
  13. Reds have engaged in talks for Lindor. I'm not sure how I feel about it, if you can lock him up for a few years, sure, if he's a rental at the expense of your farm system play Galvis.
  14. Easy trip from home and a lot more trips to home for him during the season! Very cool! How much longer does he need to hang on to get a pension?
  15. My wife does all shopping, etc, that would be at the mall or anything like that.
  16. I used to love it. Lost a couple of family members over the years and it's really lost its flare to me.
  17. The individual filming asking to just delete footage and forget about it is the first sign of guilt for them, IMO. You knew what you were doing was wrong. Not to mention the fact that the excuse was identical to the one they used when they were caught during Spygate.
  18. As a lifelong Bengals fan, that's what I find hardest haha... However, if anyone would do it I have to think it would be that organization.
  19. Everyone has heard about it. What do you make of it? What should the punishment be if the NFL finds them guilty? What will the punishment actually be if the NFL finds them guilty?
  20. Wow, that visual really makes me understand. I had it laid out very very wrong in my mind.
  21. I won't hear it, don't listen to Christmas music. I win.
