  1. I haven't seen Boyle but I have Corbin. Corbin is solid. On defense Fundamentally sound, tackle well and dbacks coverage was really good. On offense QB is a monster with a cannon and can run as well. Their Oline blocks well and stays with it 20 yards down field, backs run hard and have they have good run/pass balance.
  2. Congrats Corbin. Impressive win
  3. Two really good teams. Both have good size lines that are mobile, both have good skill players and both have good coaching. I feel the better team won and was about how I saw the game playing out.
  4. Mayfield made about as many mistakes as they could and didn’t have the ball bounce their way one time but battled to tie it up.
  5. That would be awesome!!! Just hope all teams remaining play their best and let the chips fall where they may.
  6. Score was as close as it could've been. Mayfield dominated both sides of the ball. As far as fan altercation I'm sure both sides were at fault. It has nothing to do with where the truck was parked. Those vehicles are always there and never a problem. One side wasn't happy with how game was going and the other side was probably too happy.....
  7. I thought last year was a good game and feel the better team probably won. But there was two big plays that changed that game. Mayfield missed a wide open receiver for a touchdown and the very next play the receiver cramped up and fell down leading to a pick 6 by Mr Wright. Changed the whole game. From that point on Mayfield was pressing.
  8. Mayfield dominated the game just struggled to get touchdowns the first half. Second half was a different story.
  9. That's how I remember it as well. I thought they were returning most of team. QB quitting definitely is a factor though...
  10. That didn't sound like a Mayfield fan. They said drive down there not drive down here...just the way I read it.
  11. Crown is a factor and teams that play on grass fields are also practicing on grass fields. So one would think they just might be a little more used to wet grass field situations.
  12. I don’t think anyone is saying that a team that plays on turf can’t win on grass. The best team usually wins. But it could play a roll in a close game and tip the scales in favor to the team used to playing on grass.
  13. Didn’t realize I picked Hancock. Definitely not my pick though.
  14. This time of year grass surfaces are not in very good condition. Add a little rain and it's very slick. Most are Bermuda and its dormant. Also grass fields have a much larger crown that I feel takes a little getting used too.... So after all that I think it's a bigger adjustment for teams used to playing on turf.
  15. No one wants to talk about CAL QB situation. Crickets for weeks now!
  16. Definitely shocked with the score in this one! Didn't see Mayfield scoring 55 with dry conditions. Nice win!
  17. I didn't listen tonight but if it was Ron Gentry he did Mayfield games for years
  18. There's been some real battles between the 2 programs.
  19. Way to represent Kentucky football!!
