Our freshmen scored twice just running the ball.

Ballard's QB can sling it.

Good job by MF of taking care of business on homecoming. Not much to be gleamed from this one outside of the fact that Ballard's QB is crazy good. Canon for an arm, great vision, escapability, really good at keeping plays alive and throwing on the run. If he had any help at all, there's no telling the numbers that young man would put up.

I loved MF's radio booth tonight.

Mayfield almost scored 50 in the 1st quarter.

Don't think I know him but he was very good.

Exciting times ahead this year for Mayfield!

I didn't listen tonight but if it was Ron Gentry he did Mayfield games for years

I did listen tonight and Ron did a wonderful job with Vince. David Morris always does a good job as well with Vince.

Ballard Memorial giving up an insane 52.5 points per game. Take away the seven allowed against Webster County and it is 59! Back-to-back 70s against Crittenden County and Mayfield.

Mayfield scored 44 in the first quarter, if not for the running clock it was going to be 51 as Mayfield was just about to score as the quarter ended.

Ballard was very intimidated, Mayfield was teeing off on them.

These games aren't fun to watch.

Exciting times ahead this year for Mayfield!

Surely your not basing your perspective based on this game.

Not really, just looking forward to the 2A playoffs and if Mayfield can win it all.
