Bellevue improves to 5 and 3 and will host Ludlow next week for the 2 seed in the district and a home playoff game.

Gunner Barnes is a junior cornerback/wide receiver with 4 int's and 4 TD's. Also shortstop/pitcher/lead off batter on the baseball team.

Will Ryan was injured in the previous game against Newport, his shoulder popped out of place a few times. Hope to have him back against Dayton and Ludlow. With 170 pound lineman going up against the Baughs and Derry, I'm sure he wouldn't of been able to manifest his skill. But in Bellevue's previous 6 games, he was the best player on the field. He just turned 17 a few days ago.

He was released last night, has to wear a neck brace for a week. X-rays came back good.

There are 23 football games scheduled throughout the state on Thursday night.

Looking at both schools rosters, and the junior high Ducks roster-Bellevue and Dayton will both have a hard time fielding football teams next year. Bellevue is graduating almost half of their team, and the pipeline moving up from junior high is sparse.

Thursday night game at Ludlow has apparently been cancelled due to Dayton only having 12 healthy bodies.
