Briley Seiter(Bellevue) pitches for Eastern Nazarene in Boston. Last year he was 3-1 with a 4.46 ERA. -

I was on the losing side in 81-we had 7 turnovers in the 1st half-and couldn’t finish our drives in the 2nd half-but it was you(Paris) who were a very formidable opponent and did the things to win. Congrats! -

Playing in 3 straight title games in 79, 80, and 81-especially 79 as we won 7-0 over Richmond Madison. I had 2 carries for 30 on the winning drive. And the field was like concrete. I played for Bellevue Tigers. Also seeing The Rolling Stones there. -

Played on some good teams with the ‘79 and ‘80 winners. Played against the ‘81 winner and went on a college trip to Dayton with him. Lucky enough to have seen or know a lot of these guys. -
Purdue’s Rondale Moore from Trinity named 1st team All-American as an all purpose back as a Freshman. Congrats!

What time is kickoff? I work til 6:30, so hoping that it’s a 7:30 tee time. Anybody? -
His dad told me he was going to have surgery.

Dayton has already forfeited their playoff game against Frankfort..Good luck Chad.

Proud to be a little 1A school alumni and have a 3-0 record against Beechwood.

All of the Highlands faithful, who you couldn't find with a search warrant the last few years, have come out from hiding. -
2A #8 Newport Central Catholic at Newport

That would be the QB #11, Kileal Davis-not sure on his status. -
Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention also the TD run by Bellevue’s Gavin “Purple” Hayes.
-
They arrived in a bus. I think both schools will struggle to field teams as soon as next year.
-
And judging from their shared junior high team, the numbers aren't good.
-
Final. Both teams playing with depleted lineups, 20 dressing for the Tigers, and 18 for Dayton. Daniel Hill with 3 TD's filling in for the injured Will Ryan, and also adding TD runs for Bellevue were Connely, Kenny Ross, and Charlie Schreiber, who also had an interception. Bellevue improves to 5 and 3 and will host Ludlow next week for the 2 seed in the district and a home playoff game.

Gunner Barnes is a junior cornerback/wide receiver with 4 int's and 4 TD's. Also shortstop/pitcher/lead off batter on the baseball team.

5A #1 Covington Catholic vs 5A #6 Highlands

16 fathers of Highlands players. I think last week I was the only one who voted for Bellevue over Beechwood because I was afraid my son would see that. -

Cov Cath will deflate the Birds before halftime. I see at least a 4 TD lead by then. Offensive line will dominate. Who will cover Coldiron and Meyer let alone stop McGinness? -

The game is at Highlands. -
Will Ryan was injured in the previous game against Newport, his shoulder popped out of place a few times. Hope to have him back against Dayton and Ludlow. With 170 pound lineman going up against the Baughs and Derry, I'm sure he wouldn't of been able to manifest his skill. But in Bellevue's previous 6 games, he was the best player on the field. He just turned 17 a few days ago.

He was released last night, has to wear a neck brace for a week. X-rays came back good.
