Would you folks think Pat Kelsey is a front runner for national and ACC coach of the year? Sure has had an impact so far.

I watched the video. Rather interesting that you refer to how toxic the situation was at Cooper. None of us were there correct? Have you ever seen parent or parents come after a coach at any other schools?

If the guy was a starter on a state runner-up twice, was a captain, was a guest on the coach's radio show, and knocked your squad out with a great interception last season and helped obliterate them this year in the semis (again), how did he get screwed over as you said. Rather poor choice of words in my opinion.

When I was officiating we would talk about situations " that make a travesty of the game". I suppose that might have been what was referenced. I saw a bunch of really crazy things happen over 25 years, but never an awarded score in that situation. Can you imagine if that had been the Chiefs game lol?

Really liked that guy when he was with the Bengals. Never a star...... just a solid role player that championship teams love.

I think you might find that CCH's basketball program was really strong and well respected long before Coach Rusthatz and will remain that way in the future. He did a fine job, but so did those before him.

Do you think the transfer portal hurts QB recruiting? I think many programs fish the portal pond and if they don't get a hit move on to HS players. I would think O'Hara is in an offense designed around his talents and he might not wind up in the same situation if he moved to another place.

As an old coach it's really enjoyable to watch both teams share the ball. I might need a nap after watching these guys go up and down like they do lol.
