I am a Trinity fan first and last, but I try to be fair in my assessments as well. I think Saint Xavier being Trinity’s biggest rival always has a chance. They have a team that has improved by leaps and bounds since Trinity first played them during the regular season.if they meet again, I think it goes right down to the wire. I will say this, Saint Xavier is the only team in the state who has any chance at all of beating Trinity.

Even money says in 6A it is a X, Trinity final. It would break my heart if X wins and takes state, however they are really improving with each passing game. If they meet a second time, I think the fans will see a much closer game that could go either way.

I feel sorry for any team going into a game with out a snowball’s chance to win. Trinity could win this one playing all freshman.

When I first saw the schedule Trinity had for the 2017 season, I thought no way they could go undefeated through out the regular season. I salute this team. They won every game on probably the toughest schedule anyone in the state of Kentucky has ever played. Now it is on to the playoffs in pursuit of another state championship. The only possible stumbling block I see is a possible second meeting with Saint Xavier.

Very disappointing season for the crimson. Looks like better days in the future based on the success of their freshman team.

Tones, contact Trinity they might be willing to travel up to you to give Covington Catholic a freshman game. It would have to come together pretty quick in order to happen this year. This group at trinity is very special. I think they may be the best freshman team in ky, Indiana,or the Cincinnati area.

It would be great to get the Trinity freshman team 2 more games. I suggest manual,and Covington Catholic. The Trinity AD will have to act fast if he wants to Add any games for the freshman team. It would be nice to see them pushed a little to gauge their talent. They blew out every team they played.

If they wanted to test themselves, they could have gotten a game with Trinity this year. Trinity was short two games and could have used another game. Trinity was never tested this year. Every game they played was a blow out. Probably too late now, but if Covington Catholic has not turned their equipment in yet, they should call Trinity and set it up.

Trinity is, and always will be a class program.

Who should we look for at Trinity high school to be the next big time players ? Juniors, and sophomores.

I would love to see a series between DeSales and Nashville father Ryan.

Both teams have too much pride and character not too play their very best.

I hope all the young men being mentioned have great futures where ever they play.

Of the southern Indiana teams I listed, the colts could more than hold their own. Why all the southern Indiana teams someone asked, offer the fans some different schools to play. All the Indiana teams bring big crowds of supporters, minimum travel costs to DeSales.

Some teams I would like to see added to the DeSales future schedules. Father Ryan out of Nashville. Newport Catholic from Northern ky, jeffersonville high school. New Albany high school. Providence high school Clarksville Indiana. And last but not least, Floyd central from the knobs.

To that young man that transferred in to Trinity, I say welcome to the classiest program in the state.
