Do they still hold the NKY freshman regional tournament, or whatever it was called?

Very well coached team and respectful players.

I went to a couple of games this year and was impressed how nearly the entire roster got meaningful snaps. Adding another solid class to the program keeps the program moving in the right direction.

Ryle's freshman team improved as the season went along, they were plagued with losing a lot of turnovers but with a lot of players learning new positions as the year went along, they will be better for it in the long run.

If they wanted to test themselves, they could have gotten a game with Trinity this year. Trinity was short two games and could have used another game. Trinity was never tested this year. Every game they played was a blow out. Probably too late now, but if Covington Catholic has not turned their equipment in yet, they should call Trinity and set it up.

I believe the issue with Cov Cath scheduling a game with Trinity is the cost of travel and also the students getting back from the game at a late hour. I would love to see them tested against a school like Trinity, but I respect the AD for recognizing that these are students who most likely have homework and don't need to be getting home from a football game on a school night around 11pm.

CCH and Trinity's JV teams played the last two years. The game was at Trinity this year. Only two or three weeks ago I believe.

That game was on a Saturday as opposed to during the week when the freshman typically play.

My apologies. Cov Cath's website shows the game was 9/23/17. Since that is the case, I suppose my reasons for Cov Cath not scheduling Trinity freshman is invalid.
