Ballard (5-5) hosts Boone County (1-9) in playoff action. The Bruins were shutout by previously ranked #14 Central Hardin (7-3) 21-0 this past Friday. Boone County dropped a 36-12 game to 5A #11 Highlands (5-5). The Bruins are on a two game losing streak and suffered shutouts in each of these contests. The Rebels are on a seven game losing streak and the 12 points scored versus Highlands were their highest total since a 27-6 win over Holmes (3-7) on September 8. I have to believe Coach Adrian Morton's staff at Ballard can find the answers needed to put some points on the board versus Coach Marty Steele's Boone County squad. I was surprisewd by the Bruins lack of offense versus Central Hardin and if they don't come to play this week, the Rebels are capable of pulling the upset.

I'm gonna go Ballard in this one.
