  1. You are so far off base here.... “A” for effort though I suppose.
  2. Saw a stat saying NFL teams with a turnover margin of +5 or better in a game are 132-4-1. The Browns are responsible for two of those losses and the tie. Pretty incredible.
  3. Nothing better than Allen Edmonds at that price point. Will last a very long time if you take care of them and are very comfortable. Definitely worth the investment and my personal favorite. I'm a big fan of their belts as well.
  4. I would think Carson would be the safest pick especially early on as Penny is still getting acclimated. Davis may have more upside potential but a little more risky. Not a fan of Crowell as I think Bilal Powell will carry the workload early on.
  5. Growing up I always played basketball in Nike shoes. Had to wear Adidas in college and have mostly switched to Adidas for any type of workout apparel/shoes since.
  6. Bell is still holding out. James Conner has looked really good in the preseason but is obviously a step down from Le'Veon Bell. If Bell does return in the next few days he most likely will not be his normal self the first few weeks. This will be the best chance the Browns will have to beat the Steelers.
  7. 7 - LA Rams 5 - Carolina 3 - Washington 2 - Indy 1 - Denver Tiebreaker - LA Rams
  8. Hands down "The Human Centipede". Please do not watch it if you have not.
  9. I think it's similar to most of your chain steakhouses. Pretty average but nothing to write home about. Their salad bar is good though.
  10. I was referring to outside shots. Most of his buckets were around the rim I believe. I’m sure fatigue was a factor this early as well.
  11. R.J. Barrett didn’t shoot very well but he and Zion Williamson dominated the game. Williamson and Jack White seemed like the only ones hitting anything from the outside. I haven’t seen the box score so don’t know exact stats. It will be a much different looking team with Jones and Reddish in the lineup. Losing O’Connell in the first few minutes didn’t help with depth either.
  12. I don’t think so. It was a pretty sloppy game overall and Duke was without two starters.
  13. You always have to take his rankings with a grain of salt. He obviously only sees a handful of players and puts heavy emphasis on those who attend his camp.
  14. I guess every kid is different but I've never understood the whole home sickness thing. Of course there are times you really miss your family/friends/hometown, but so many times you see kids go far away and are back home in a year. I just personally can't imagine being that homesick that I can't be away for 4 years. I hope it doesn't end up being the case here. As others have mentioned, it doesn't get much better than Stanford when taking all factors into account.
  15. I'm all for self defense but I don't know how one can justify that video. The guy who pushed the man not only backed away but there was a solid two seconds of him sitting there with his gun drawn before he fired. In that time the guy who pushed him was moving away from him. If he would have jumped on top of him and starting hitting him it would be a whole different story. But I don't know how he thought his life was in danger at that point. He could have easily drawn his gun and warned the man he would shoot if he attacked him again or something but to sit there and shoot without being approached again is not self defense imo.
  16. Essentially a DeRozan salary dump for the Raptors. He will make $27.7MM per year for the next 3 seasons.
  17. I saw the video. It seems as if the other guy was instigating. I wonder what led up to it. Agree that it is a bad look for someone with his history.
  18. This was a great documentary. Dirk had such a unique approach to workouts and preparation. He is a prime example of a guy who realizes what his strengths are and works on them and doesn't try to play a style that didn't fit him. I feel like more players should do the same. However, it never hurts being a 7 footer with the ability to shoot like he can. He really learned how to use his height and become extremely crafty to make up for his lack of foot speed and athleticism. The Mavs also did a great job letting him develop. He was thrown into the fire and struggled a little at first but they were patient with him and let the game come to him over time.
  19. For the record, I voted that he is a lock for the hall of fame. I don't necessarily agree that he should be a lock but I for sure think he will get in.
  20. If that’s the case then that’s a whole different story.
