Ashland Blazer 63 Lincoln County 54

Was Ashland full strength? -
Jarius Bryant led Danville in scoring with 24. Danville went 3-0 in the Cumberland falls classic. Pulaski County also went 3-0. Danville seems to be playing great basketball right before District starts next week.

You are correct, I'm saying if they do happen to run into Covington Catholic or Ballard I don't think they can beat them. -

Danville wins in the Cumberland falls classic. I've watched a few games the last couple of days. Really good tournament. Danville was led in scoring by Senior Dontae Hayden with 34, Demariah Brown had 17 and Jaylen Dunn had 16. Danville about gave the lead away late in the 4th up by 8 with 3 straight turnovers. Clutch free throws by Hayden closed it out. Danville freshman Hill and Brown are going to give coaches nightmares the next 3 years. They can play!

DCA is a team that can give a lot of teams problems with the size they got. Wouldn't be a surprise to me if DCA knocked off Garrard, Danville and maybe Boyle in their district. Danville is a team that has played a tough schedule early on. I only see one bad loss on there schedule and it's Mercer County. Like I said before, I wouldn't want to play Danville at Danville in the district tournament. I think we will see how good Boyle really is this week. I could see Lincoln losing one or two games this week in the Ashland Invitational. When its all said and done I think we will see Lincoln and Pulaski battle it out for the regional championship.

Is Ethan Atchley out at Bullitt East?

If he did, Lexington Catholic would be a perfect fit! -
I agree with the LCA Coach. I would offer it to the offensive coordinator, Coach Oakley.

I'm not sold on Boyle being the #2 seed just yet. I think Danville and Garrard County can challenge for the #2 Spot. Danville and Boyle split last year and Garrard had Danville beat twice last year but fell apart late in both games. Also, hearing Danville has no Sophomores, one Senior, two Juniors and four Freshman, starting 3 of those Freshman.

They have a really nice freshman class. I think they will compete next year with LCA in their district. The Current Sophomores and Juniors lost there best players. Sage Dawson to Boyle. Dryston Turner to Tennessee. Josh Bixler to Anderson County. You add them to Danville and they would've been really good next year. So like I said a year away from being back to Danville Standards.

I think Danville is a year away if they can keep kids from going to Boyle County. They have a great Freshman Class.

I went to this game, nice crowd for a Monday night. I've know Ed McKinney for a long time, and he's always been a defensive minded coach, but this might be his worst defensive team he's had in a long time. They can't guard at all. Mercer County was driving right down their throats all night. Mercer County got a guard #0 he was getting to the rim all night. I know he had about 30. Danville big man Hill was a force on the glass, I think they need to ger him more involved in the offense. Danville just shoots way too many 3s with not so good shooters. Mercer Coach had a great game plan holding Hayden to under 10 points. Mercer has a nice team.

I would give previous Head Coach at Rowan County, Previous Offensive Coordinator at Danville and current Tight End Coach at Boyle County, Kyle Singleton a call. Look what he did with Vancleave at Danville. I think Qusinberry is the same type of player.

Pulaski County 70 Danville 63

I went to the game also. Danville played well enough to win this game. Missed free throws cost the ADS. I came away extremely impressed with Freshman Demauriah Brown. He is going to be a player. Pulaski County Gavin Stevens was the difference in this game. He was clearly the best player on the court. When they get Barek Williams back they will be a tough out for anybody. They are so big and strong 1-5. I thought Jaylen Dunn played the great the first half and kinda stopped going to the rim in the second half. When he decides to play downhill he's hard to handle. Pulaski County Zach Travis played great also. I could see Pulaski County being a dangerous team in a couple of months when Williams returns and If I was Boyle County or Lincoln County in the 45th District I would not overlook Danville. If they get another scorer to go with Dante Hayden and Jaylen Dunn they could beat both of them. -
Woodford County 63 Danville 43

Hearing the AD at Woodford County told Woodford County HC Jaron Brown that the kids were ruled eligible and could play. So you can't blame him. This mistake is clearly on the AD.
