  1. I knew the dates and times but which teams play which days?
  2. CCH was only sloppy for half of Q3 when they let HC cut into an 18 point halftime lead and maybe when the end of the bench subbed in late in Q4. They dominated the first two quarters and were completely on their A game scoring 28 pts in Q1.
  3. Nice summary! I think Faulkner's senior season ppg and career scoring mark make him stand out over Fredeick and others.
  4. Not sure who reports these stats but Ruthsatz had at least 6 points. He made a 3 and also was fouled on a missed 3 pointer and drained all 3 free throws at the end of Q3.
  5. I stand corrected. Looks like this was a better game than anticipated.
  6. This stat is wrong. I can think of at least 7 layups and short jumpers. Beechwood easily had 14 points in the paint if not more. It still was lopsided on all accounts as expected.
  7. I agree, it completely matters! LCA kids got a moral victory, assured themselves at least two more games if not more, and are going to create more memories ... If it doesnt matter and "no one can beat Scott County" then lets just cancel the regional and sweet 16 tourneys and move on to baseball! Sounds like it was an amazing game!
  8. Who will be the first of the top 10 to go down in districts or regions? I am thinking these teams will not survive: Butler Madison. Central Doss Ballard Cooper
  9. Last I saw, the 9th is ranked ahead of the 7th. I think the Sweet 16 brackets are setup perfectly for a potential 1 vs 2 final.
  10. I am confused, were NKY awards given out? Or were they by each Region? The thread says NKY but people are talking about 9th Region Awards. Regardless, congrats to both AK and CJ! Outstanding young men and players!!!
  11. You are correct, they have been hosting each other the last game of the season. CCH hosted and won by 18 in 2017; each team appears to have only lost one senior from that game: CCH’s Vonhandorf put up 25. MC’s Roberts had 5. Common Opponents this season: Cooper: CCH lost by 3 and won by 15 / MC lost by 10 Lex Cath: CCH won by 1 / MC won by 37 Ballard: CCH won by 10 / MC won by 26 MC owns the margin of victory comparison. Granted these games were played at different times of the year and both teams are currently playing their best ball. The player matchups are pretty solid. I am going to go with whoever has the ball last! ;-)
  12. I kinda feel the same about the "closer than the score" comments. CCH pulled away about 3 minutes into Q1. SK made a decent run in Q2 with Kelch on the bench but CCH never looked back. SK played Zone the entire first 3 qtrs but CCH forced them out of it early in Q4. The margin wouldve been larger if SK manned up earlier. Jake Walter (24 points) dominated the Big Man Competition over Kelch (4 points). His game has improved exponentially in the last month.
  13. These stats are close. If i had to pick one, i would go with CJ but also support Co MVPs. Do you have Assists and total points??
  14. Ouch, only 2 points in the 3rd with only 5 in the 4th! And that is in a Championship! Well done Colonels!
  15. Colonels are heating up! These young men are playing great team ball and CJ is still getting his 20+ with teams obviously keying on stopping him ... Using their depth well with at least 8 players getting good minutes. Two good matchups left before tourney time!
  16. Should be a fun competitive game. CCH is 23-4 with one loss by 10+ to a Florida team Boyle is 16-5 with 3 losses by 10+ all to KY teams. They have one common opponent in Campbell County. CCH won at Campbell by 2 at the buzzer. Boyle hosted Campbell and won by 11. Boyle has a 6 game winning streak dating back to Jan 23. CCH has an 11 game winning streak dating back to Jan 9. I wish I knew more about he actual player matchups but don't ...
