Wow, sounds like a great game. LexCath ends their season earlier than I'm sure they had planned, and LCA will play in the 11th Region Tourney.

Lexington Catholic gives the game away in the final seconds. That will sting for awhile.

So, has LCA been playing over their heads ?

Care to explain how? Thanks

8 seconds left Lex. Catholic up 2 taking ball out under LCA basket and they try to throw a long pass which is picked off at half court. LCA kid goes down and hits a layup with 3 seconds and is fouled, hits free throw to win it. LCA had only committed 4 fouls so they were going to have to foul 3 times before bonus. Johnson for LCH was unconscious from 3 point line, believe he hit 7.

That is a tough way to lose one especially when it is one and done.

The freshman was taking it out and he just made a bad play but he had 27 points so without him they wouldnt have been in the game.

Who is the freshman, sounds like a hekuva player.

Pretty much was stated below.

... but chose to throw the home run pass over a 6’7 guy all on the LCA student section side.. I just don’t understand it. Lex. Cath did a lot right tonight but what a heartbreaker. They got a solid look off at the buzzer from 3

Ben Johnson. Both of his brothers were very good players at LCH. He can really shoot the ball, he had 25 on LCA last time they played.

So, has LCA been playing over their heads ?

No, they are really good.

Doesn’t matter. I don’t see anybody beating Scott county. That play too well on defense and play too well on offense to lose to a team from KY.

Thanks. Heart breaker for Catholic.
