Other than a few guys cramping up on both teams there were no injuries to their playmakers , and Nicholas is not a total rebuild ... they have several experienced players back and several young ones starting to figure it out ... west carter is a good team with a ton of speed and the Jackets came up with some huge plays offensively and defensively ...

Don't have a problem with it , especially given the fact of the close proximity ... maybe it's Coach's way of keeping their focus .. the fans are still coming so that doesn't effect the gate , not sure why this would be an issue ??

Kind of hard to follow the General there BAC ...

Refs have been pretty solid so far in our games ... I can tell they are watching for more illegal blocks this year... holding can be called every play somewhere so if they they miss a few of those it's not a big deal unless it's really obvious ... the refs have not been a factor in any of our games so I would grade them an A- thru 5 games ...

A total team win for the Jackets after a total team breakdown last week ... very exciting game throughout and the NC defense really stepped up against a very fast Comet team ... #1 and #18 are a handfull to try to contain for 4 quarters ... both teams played hard and very good sportsmanship from both sides... very good win going into district play ... doesn't get any easier next week with a solid Brossart team ... Jackets need to take that same excitement and fire they played with last night on the road with them ...

Bellevue is a nice team that is gonna give a lot of teams trouble with their team speed and passing game ... so if you coached for years then don't take away from our guys or Bellevue , both teams played their tails off last night ....not sure if you guys would set the bar any higher sir , in my opinion of course ...

Not sure what your comment about our 'performance' was all about but glad you made the trip to Carlisle to watch our guys 'performance' instead of going and watching your guys ... better be worried about Blackburn's performance instead of ours!!! Just saying ...

Nicholas County was 2 for 2 on extra point kicks , Bellevue missed the only one they tried and went for two the rest of the night ... Nicholas had to answer 2's the rest of the night ... Nicholas was lined up for the kick in overtime and Bellevue jumped off sides and Nicholas went for two on have the distance and ran it in , take away the risk of a bad snap .... heckuva of a high school football game , both teams played hard ... good luck to the tigers the rest of the year ... proud of the young Jackets

What a great game!

Rowan county is much improved , got about 80 kids on the roster , a pickup of about 30 kids from last year after graduating around 10 seniors, that caused a lot of problems for the Jackets ... . so I look for them to make some noise in their respective class ... Nicholas County has a few things to figure out but they will be fine in their respective class ... the bluejackets missed a lot of tackles that led to some easy scores for the Vikings ... but that's what a scrimmage is for , to see what you have to work on ... good luck to both teams this year !!!

If they want to speed the game up then make the batters stay in the box without stepping out and adjusting batting gloves and the eight pads that they wear on every single pitch .... give the umpires back the game and quit going upstairs every single inning to look at a call that the umpires got right to begin with ... this interferes with the flow of the game as much as anything ... changing it to 7 innings is rediculous .... there is a lot of things they could do to speed the games up before you do a drastic change like that ..

Lets face it there is very little team concept in professional sports anymore anyway except the New England Patriots ... I do not agree with all the call outs in sports anymore but sometimes a spade is a spade ... it's funny when some do it we say it's because that person is passionate about the game and when another guy does it that he is a bad teammate... either way , it is what it is ... they are all getting overpaid millions of dollars so DO YOUR JOB ... just my opinion of course ...

He's right !!! Hard to throw anybody out when they are getting running leads ... this is a guy with a cannon too for an arm ... I think that staff has fallen into the John Lester kind of thinking ... kills your defense when there is someone always in scoring position ...

Millionaire cry babies ... guy was doing what his team needed to win the game ... If a team lets a little 6th inning bunt hit lead to a total meltdown then they didn't deserve a no no anyway .... no problems with it in a 4 to 0 game or a 12 to 0 game ... and Puig brings that stuff on himself ...
