Paris 68 Robertson County 42 (10th Region Quarterfinals)

Recommended Posts

Congrats to Coach Patrick Kelsch, who took what was one player and a bunch of kids named Joe from a year ago and transformed them into a cohesive unit that had a winning season, went 16-14, took out favored Nicholas County in the district and got to play on the Grand Stage in March !!!

Absolutely phenomenal job!!!!

I was impressed with the 8th grade point guard for Robertson. Yes he had numerous turnovers, but he showed great heart, attitude, and effort. Yes he had trouble creating a shot, but I think he will make a fine high school point guard. Congrats to Paris who was just too athletic for the Black Devils.

This type of game is hard for the Hounds to get up for...beat them by 50 and the one stud they have had 35 last year...not trying to beat up Robertson Co. jus merely stating facts...you guys will be in for a treat against Scott...Ohmer is crazy...in a good way...Wells for Paris Super-Athlete...Paris' 5 other Hounds have to be better than their 5 other Eagles...Eric Johnson is X factor...when he plays like an all region performer...it's pretty much a wrap...I'm goin with the battle tested Greyhounds...Greyhound bus is on its way up thru Northern Ky...first stop Scott High...#ridewithusorcollidewithus

Thanks Mustang! I appreciate the kind words! I am blessed to have the opportunity to coach quality students athletes such as the ones at Robertson Co. They've worked hard this season and have improved from beginning to end. They've grown as players, but more importantly people.

They've accomplished a lot this season. Thanks to Coach John Brown for teaching these kids how to play basketball which made the transition for a new coach much easier. We've increased our win total to 16, finished with a winning season, and brought home Championship hardware at a Christmas tournament.

We're going to miss our 3 seniors: Dakota Moore, Austin Dugan, Myles Murphy! They've been a pleasure to get to know and coach! I'd love for any of my three children to grow up to be the people they are!

Proud of my Black Devils!

Best of luck to Coach Brooks and his Greyhounds! They're a great bunch of athletes and people! I wish them well!

Bracken County girls basketball program took at least 2-3 step backwards when they didn't retain Patrick Kelsch as their head coach! Brackens loss was Robertson Counties gain! He is passionate and can flat out coach! Congrats to RC and Coach K on a fine season!

I agree 110% ... Bracken County let a good one go ... and I still don't understand why. For one half last night his team gave the Greyhounds all they wanted and some and that's with Burden on the bench in foul trouble. Great job Coach and you know I'm behind you always! #respect

Congrats Hounds on advancing to the semis and congrats Coach Kelsey and his guys on a great season for your program ... I know a lot of their players and parents because they played in our little league system for several years and we kind of root for them to succeed even though they bumped us out of post season this year .. good people in Robertson County ...
