August 15th is the annual booster drive. All HHS athletes should be at that.

"Spalding representatives say that the KHSAA stamp will not be added until 2017-18 and that this season's balls will be provided out of current inventories." translation: We can't sell these things and need to clear the warehouses.

Game times are tough for sure. Fans - some venues would be OK. Where there is clear separation from the fans. i.e. a track around the field. But some of those fields have the fans within a few feet of the sideline. No thanks!

NM. Saw it on NCC thread. I don't remember him last year.

In theory: After the assessment, the family would be responsible for $X. Family "friend" gives them $X to pay the tuition. Tuition is paid. What power does KHSAA have to compel said family to do anything? They're "investigative powers" are somewhat limited. Where did you get the money? I saved pop bottles. No you didn't. Yes I did. It's not on your bank statements. I kept it under my mattress. No you didn't. Yes I did. OK IRS is a different situation. KHSAA could report their allegations to the IRS. It's up to the IRS whether or not they investigate. The KHSAA would have not be privy to any action taken or not taken by them. The question still stands... What real power does the KHSAA have to prove it?

So some secret booster gives the "immediate family member" the cash, prepaid visa, etc etc etc. What power does KHSAA have to attempt to prove where money came from? i.e. require said family member to show bank statements(?) I would not think that they have any.

What it is? A set up for coaching staff to have immediate replay?

Wouldn't the student/parents and Highlands review that with KHSAA before the season?

Any change like this would require a change to the state tournament as well. 2 classes, single elimination? What about the # of teams and regions? Eight 2 class regions?
