This will be my 23 year that I have at least caught part of the tournament. Have not missed a game in the last 15 years.

Thanks BGGreen. Math was usually nap time for me. :lol: (Not really I had great teachers in school. But even great teachers have trouble getting thru to some like me.) I have stated that it is an advantage playing at home but as URIT said it does not guarantee a win.

Actually did not go to Mason County. I see where you were going now. I appologize. Again in a perfect world all post season games would be on a neutral court. And yes GRC deserved to win. They were the better team.

A good friend of mine played for and coached with Coach Keith. He had some great stories to share with me about Coach. Bobby Keith was, is and will be a coaching legend for as long as they are bouncing the round ball in this state.

I would have to agree with you on this URIT. To hear everyone else just because it is at Mason it is a sure thing that the Royals win it every year. Hmmmm does not look like that has happened. And I am talking about more than just this year. Time for another history lesson..... The 10th has been at Mason from 1966 to the present with the exception of 1969 when Clark County was host. Mason County won their first region title in 1981. One other point to take into consideration. Mason County has won 11 region titles. 7 of those were post consolodation with Maysville. My only question would be if the homecourt advantage is such a major factor, why did it take Mason County 14 years to win the 10th region on their floor? I will answer my own question. Because there were better teams than them. I am not saying that it has not helped but not to the degree that everyone has made it out to be.

Two questions to be answered..... Did the better team win today? Yes Was the game played at the Fieldhouse? Yes This proves the point that if you play the game on the moon the better team will win. When Lofton was at Mason that is all I heard that "Mason has the home court advantage" Mason had the best player and team. Same as today. The game played at the Fieldhouse and Clark had the best player and team today.

Plain and simple the best team won today. If these two played 100 times you might end up even. 50-50. As Sumoroyal said Knowles supporting cast was a little better than Miller's today. The case was just the opposite in Winchester earlier in the year. Clark overcame adversity all year long as the battled thru many things both on and off the court. (Coach Humphrey's words not mine.) The Cards were able to win against Scott without their two best on the floor. That is not a knock on the Eagles because they played a heck of a game and executed their game plan to almost perfection. If anything I hope this ends the nonsense about home court advantage because the better team won today. Congrats Clark County and make the 10th Region proud at Rupp.

I think that was the point that BGGreen was making. He was taking up for Coach O'Hearn. Not that he needs taking up for, because if it is looked at with an ounce of knowledge, a person would see how good of a job that Coach O'Hearn has done.

I agree. Miller is 1 and Knowles is 1A. Miller's size helps him a little more, but both are tremendous players. Would like to have either one on my team.

Last I checked they change baskets at halftime, so both teams shoot at both baskets during a game.

Yeah programs that had a picture, roster and maybe the teams record. No in depth stories with the coaches being interviewed, tournament history or even regular season results. That would just be too much to digest.

Ok the ADs & principals had the final say so, but I am sure coaches had some input in the matter. Point being is that all the schools in the region had a say so in the format.

Ughh...... that committee would be the Athletic Directors and Coaches in the tournament.
