Lady Royals got timely hitting and solid defense to pick up the win.

Oh I agree 100%. Starns did the right thing and not everyone was happy about kids being dismissed.
-
I think Coach Starns was in a no win situation. Some players violated team and school rules and he dismissed them from the team. Then parents got involved and you know where that went.

Wish I could hit like about a hundred times on this one. Davis was upset with himself after not hitting the free throw the second time around. In the press conference He apologized to his teammates, his school and even his community. That young man is a winner no matter what happens. Was very glad to see him get the Larry Conley Ultimate Teammate award and the Ted Sanford award. He got my vote on the Larry Conley award. -

Only problem I have with it is that it was NOT called at the state tournament. I saw several players do it after a made three on the biggest stage and there was no call. Don't call it one way at one venue and another way at another venue. Be consistent that is all anyone ever wants from an official. -

Really was impressed by Trinity administration and how they handled their cheering section. Sure boys are going to be less than angels. (Come on guys we were all like that at one time or another when we were young. Some of us still are that way.) But when they got out of line with a cheer that was not in good taste or got personal administration was quick to put a stop to it. Not saying I have read the entire book, but this is just my observation of the cover of that book.- 57 replies

After speaking with someone from KHSAA I understand why it was done. They wanted to make state championship trophies more uniform. Was it fair for a state champion in another sport to get a MUCH smaller trophy than basketball?- 57 replies

Loved this movie. Scenes were based on actual missions that were performed by Navy Seals. I give it a big ole two thumbs up.

I will reserve my comments on this topic as it WILL get me in trouble. -
I think he is a poor man's John Wall. Same style of play. Attack the basket. (Not saying he is as good as Wall so don't take it that way.) I think he could play in the OVC. Not much size but man can he handle the ball. And has a nice outside shot.

I wish every fan from every school (Mason included) had as much class as you do. That will not be the case as some will say that Mason got all the calls or they played it at the Fieldhouse or......... or..........or.......... Nice post cardinal/fan :thumb: -

Terence Brooks is leaving Paris
Philip Hay replied to Option Right's topic in KY Girls Basketball (High School)
He will be sorely missed at Paris. Just as everyone else has said he was able to get the job done in a way that oozed class. I often wondered how long he would stay at Paris before something big came his way. He is a gentleman that deserves this chance. Good luck Coach!
