Schools interested in hosting a regional tournament must submit their request through the defined site selection process at prior year tournaments. The Commissioner’s office may use this site selection plan as a guide, but is not bound by this plan in determining the sites.

No we don't carry it live, but will have results on the air very shortly afterward. WMST out of Mount Sterling carries the draw live.

Gallagher was 7 of 9 from 3 point range. White's shot was 3/4 length of the floor as it happened right in front of my broadcast spot. Augusta just out played Saint Patrick tonight. The Saints youth showed at times tonight as they were shooting 3's when they did not need to. But sitll a good season for the guys in green. Augusta shoots 52% from the floor as a team.

Personally I think that Montgomery should be given a shot at holding the tournament and see how things go from there. Everyone says that Mason County has a HUGE home court advantage. The Fieldhouse opened in 1966 and it took the Royals 15 years to use that home court advantage. The tournament has been held there every year since it opened except one, when it was held in Winchester. Here is the breakdown of winners since the Fieldhouse opened. Mason County 10 Harrison County 7 Clark County 6 Maysville 4 Pendleton County 2 Bath County 2 Fleming County 2 Bourbon County 2 Montgomery County 1 Paris 1 Campbell County 1 Bishop Brossart 1

It really gets to me when someone says "The refs cost us the game". If you look back there is much more to a loss than a blown call here or there. How about the 5 or 6 free throws a team missed? Did that change the outcome of the game? Or what about the 3 or 4 bad passes that went sailing out of bounds? Or the missed shots in the lane? I think you get my point. Yes officials do miss a call every now and again. But they get a lot more correct than they miss.

I refed one summer in a girl's high school league as a precursor to trying to get my license. Needless to say that I changed my mind REAL fast about getting into it on a regular basis.

I do know for a fact that Bracken County not coming was the Super's call. I know Coach Hammonds was looking forward to coming Saturday. It was not a good week for Bracken County schools. They had some students that were injured in an auto accident earlier in the week and everyone was erroring on the safe side. Plus their girl's game was cancelled in Northern Kentucky at about the same time as the tip as the boy's game. Add into that the fact that a school trip left at 6 am that morning and they were stranded for awhile and you can see why. Yeah I made the trip to Campbell County for the Saint Patrick game, but I also came in a 4 wheel drive. Big difference than a bus.
