Their strength or their most important facet? The way I see it, with the two ball-dominant playmakers gone, more will be asked of the guards and perimeter players in general. I don't think that necessarily makes them the Camels' strength.

Also, second only to Bertsch in points per attempt by .05 PPA, (EFG% maybe? I don't remember what we called that last year) and led the Camels in FG% among those who attempted 100 fg. While he won't be able to fill the void left by the two All-Region performers alone, he will probably be one of the guys, along with Clos, tasked with stepping up production, and even a slight drop-off in efficiency paired with the increase in volume would, in theory, leave him ahead of a lot players in the region.

That's weak. College and professional teams play at a higher level with an infinitely larger pool of information about their opponents. (Higher level of athletes too, I know.) Depending on obscurity for wins or even an advantage shows a lack of creativity from the coaching staff. It also shows a coaching staff more concerned with records and personal pride than the promotion of their outstanding athletes.

This is the type of thing that makes me wonder if some of the elements on Earth and in its atmosphere arrived this way. If the theory goes that we are not alone in the universe, it should follow that we never were. Going a step further, in one of my completely unfounded and probably easily disproved theories, I would argue life started on Mercury, and after evolving to the point the planet was uninhabitable, moved along to Venus- lather, rinse, repeat, and here we are in phase three on this fun little rock called Earth, with a very little(relatively speaking) time remaining until Mars is the only way to save humanity.

At the very least. I'm ready to move on from conservative game plans and traditional methods. I'm not calling for the Oopty-Oop, just something a little fresher. My only worry is that he wouldn't know what to do with Mixon. (See: Murray, DeMarco)

I'm stuck between Anderson@Walton and GRC@Pendleton on the boys side that night.

Already put in for vacation time! I'd be interested in catching some of the Louisville girls hoops contenders while I'm down there.

I know practices haven't even started, but basketball never stops in my mind. Last night I went through the first month of the season on the boys side and added what I consider to be the best match-ups of the first month to my calendar. With a little help from my friends here, I hope to do the same tonight with the girls side to iron out what that first month will look like. The idea here is that I see as many of the teams/gyms in the area (8th, 9th, 10th regions) as I can this season.
