The debate stops here. There is not a Big 4 There is not a Big 3 There isn't even 2. It begins and ends with Trinity. The BIG 1. Sure, they're on a 2 year slide. Male? 4 straight State Championship losses. 2 of them to Trinity, after defeating them in the regular season. St. X? 1 State Title in over a decade. Manual? Laughable at best. There is only 1. Only one BIG. And it's Trinity The rest simply don't compare. Those others may win a regular season game, but The Rocks prevail by bringing home trophies. There is only the BIG 1, T! Are you forgetting that the Trinity defense held Alexander to a career low in rushing yards, being stuffed for multiple no yards gained?

If Cobb doesn't bring a title back to St. Matthews this year, he's proven everything I've said. They lessened the OOS opponents, have an excellent home schedule, a lot of returning starters, and "hopefully" a desire to bring another one home.

They defeated all 3 of those OOS teams last year. And lost to all the in state opponents except Eastern in the regular season. So let's pump the brakes on who are the slouches, and who are not.

Couldn't have picked a better time to tone down the OOS games. Jay Cobb is getting off easy. And this makes Trinity now look weak if in state programs want to schedule them. Bye bye days of glory.

I think the last hire at Trinity went like this: They gathered up the players and asked, "Who's the nicest coach on staff that doesn't yell too much and doesn't push you too hard?"
