Final what a comeback by Douglass down 54-41 with just over 4 minutes left to play. They closed out the game on a 17-0 run. Broncos head to the semifinal in only their 6th season.

Wow.  I thought Douglass was more talented but Male outplayed them until the final 4 minutes.  Male feel’s Owensboro’s pain X 3.  I hate that for Male but going to stall ball at the 4 minute mark maybe not the right move - especially against an athletic aggressive defense by the Broncs.  Congrats to both teams on great seasons.

Monumental collapse  by Male. At one point they were up 13 in the middle of the fourth quarter.

I listened to this one and it was an insane comeback.

I agree 100% then when it got close Male looked like they were playing not to lose instead of trying to close the game out.

They get all of the best public school talent in Fayette County.  They will be good for years to come.

After draining 15 3s yesterday, Male only hits 4 today.  Excellent job by the Broncos to not give up mid 4th.

Two years in a row Male let a winnable game slip away.

What a year for Freddie D athletics!  Football title and now at least semifinal appearance in Bball.

One thing I was struck by. Male's #0 Cole Edlin, had a couple of occasions where he and an opponent bumped into each other. When the other kid went down, Edlin went over and offered to help him up off of the floor.  It's just a small thing, but it shows class!
