They evacuated the stadium before kickoff due to the smell of gas. So after a short delay, they got it started, if anyone was wanting to know why they're behind on time.

The coaches won't preach it, but the kids remember losing to Ballard last year for the first time since the mid 90s. Redemption is on their mind. If they play as well as they have the past few weeks, I can easily see the possibility of a running clock.

Trinity has won 2 in a row against the Bombers, including 2 years ago when X was a top 10 team in the country. The Rocks were bad that year and were able to squeeze out a 33-32 win. Last years blowout victory is a head scratcher (not unlike this season so far). Nothing would surprise me at this point. As disappointed as I am in Cobb, I won't pick against my Alma Mater. Trinity- 31 North X- 28 I'll be on vacation in Florida. So I guess I'll check in here for updates.

A lot of this has to do with Rob Mullins and his view that Trinity football is not as important to the school as the fans make it out to be. Hence the change in the field. He told me that all the white was bad for the soccer team. I asked when was the last time soccer packed the stadium. He ignored me. Not that the soccer team doesn't deserve the facilities too, but be realistic.

Embarrassing

Fire Jay Cobb immediately. I already said I won't attend another game under him. Now I won't watch or listen to another game. I support the athletes, but I'm done.

This GLICOD is the way to go. Far superior to NFHS.

The freshmen Rocks defeated Male 34-12 yesterday. Good start to the weekend.

I recommend the movie "Greater" as well. Also based on a true story.

I wasn't sure where else to start this thread. I found this movie "23 Blast" while scrolling through Peacock. It's a true story based on Travis Freeman and Corbin football in 1993. It was really well made. I had never heard the story, and was impressed with his resilience. I don't want to give the story away, so if anyone is interested they can look it up.
