No change, the aurgument is based on that Male and Trinity are the best two teams in the state and SK should be mentioned in the two horse race. No matter what the outcome of the Male, T game, SK has no chance against either team.

You have to play it on the field, but one thing I am sure of SK will not win state unless Male and Trinity are not allowed to participate in the tournament.

I got the total offensive numbers from the Courier-journal, and BG out gained X 382-364 with 24 to 18 in first downs. When did X play their backups, BG cut the lead to 12 and had the ball, and that was in the 4th quarter.

Don't be nieve, I know dozens of kids that went to Catholic grade school, and couldn't afford private high school, but was able to get into Male and Manual.

What stats shows is, X is not that much better than BG if not for a few mistake, and if they play again maybe would be a different story, maybe that's why they are #1 . Also, stats show that Pulaski's defense couldn't stop a grade school team. Also, stats show the score was 45-19.

Bowling Green out gained X on the stats, if it wasn't for the the turnovers and special teams blunders it may have been a lot closer. Also, Pulaski Co gave up almost 600 yds of offense to Scott Co.

This is not the same team that won state last year, usually Highlands reloads. I think you can legitimately say they are down this year. They may lose half their regular season games.

As far as X being down, were they ever up. X the past 4 years have lost 20 games, 5 a year. They have been competative, but not championship competative. So, when they return only 3 starters, you don't expect them to be championship contender, but they are always going to be good just because of shear numbers.

Wishful thinking, whatever it takes to make SK look better. Cooper won 3 games last year.

Maybe Male plays all their talented JV players on the varsity? Didn't this Male JV team go undefeated as freshman?

How can you whine about level playing field when your prediction said othewise. By the way most kids on the football team choose to come if they can afford the tuition which is considerable. So they are not able to pick whoever they want.

I guess your happy SK is on the easy side of the bracket. That will set up another northern Kentucky team to get blown out in the finals, if SK can get past Scott co.

Plenty to lose, pride, dignity, and self respect after getting their butts waxed. On the other hand, I do agree that there is something to gain. Lafayette will gain a new understanding on what it feels like being taken to the woodshed on the football field by us rich dudes in da ville.

I don't know why people put a lot of stock in that scrimmage with SK, hell X hadn't even settle in a starting QB at that point, and they were practicing their new offense. X will have had three weeks of practice since that PRACTICE game, I guarantee they are much better since then.

So, a 17 point spread, you are another one that puts Lafayette on the same plain as nationally ranked Brentwood. Trinity only beat them by 18. I guess Lafayette ought to be nationally ranked.

Only way T loses this one at home, is if they forget what day the game is on and don't show up, literally.

Agreed, this is why I am critical of the scrimmage against SK. X was trying out their new offense that is a work in progress, or could say practicing it against real competition. So for #1UK Fan to hold up the trophy because they beat a team that is still learning a new offense, is like celebrating a victory against a team that is missing their best players. X is still figuring out what personel is best for their new system. Boast and brag if you beat them later in the season.
