No they don't have a chance

Had over 50 soccer at the game week before last at Ashland.

They aren't only the worst in 4A

The great ones do both, the good do 1 or the other and the bad ones do neither.

That will leave a bad taste in their mouth, they lost on a last second TD. As with most every team on the schedule, Ashland-Ironton is a rivalry game and their is no love lost between the 2.

Running clock. Belfry wins easy.

They have 50 plus on the soccer team and a lot of athletes.

Boyd needs to drop football. Their soccer team has more athletes.

Did anyone see that hit on the kickoff? Those are the kind of hits that make you think twice about even having them!

Thoughts? Predictions?

Russell, Boyd is worse and may depending on who they play non district go winless. Boyd won't beat anyone in District play.

Shocker that Greenup couldn't put up any points. Congrats Rams and Greenup must have thought after that Russell win the season was over.

My thoughts, Ashland played pretty dang well on D after the first drive. Penalties really aided Russell on some of their drives and the only other score. Ashland offense is a work in progress. Have some nice pieces but just looks out of sync. Some of it had to do with that Russell D. Russell's offense outside of that first drive is as bad as I've seen a Devils team have in awhile. Russell and Ashland both offensively are about the same team but Ashland has the better playmakers.

Ratliff to Hester on a long pass play kinda has woken the Cats up.

Russell 7-0. Short passes made it look pretty easy. Stayed ahead of the chains.

Son said he was at the Y and ankle is still sore but has practiced and will play

Ashland D is good very good. If Russell doesn't improve drastically this week not sure they can put up enough points to win. Ashland offensively is struggling and needs to get going. Maybe this game they do. Ashland wins 21-7.

Greenup wins probably a very close game

I think we win too but 8-7 or something similar would be a lot of scoring from these 2 right now and congrats to Ironton.

Figured it would be a closer game. Ashland Russell might be a game similar to last season.

Huntington is the real deal!!! Midland or Huntington may have enough to beat Martinsburg this year.

Coach Love is a great guy and really really good coach but I for one question him year after year as a Head Coach. Defensively Ashland is played some pretty darn good football. Offensively to predictable among the other things already discussed.
