Thoughts? Predictions?

Ironton lost to Fairland 27-21 last night. It was the first time since 1961 that they lost to another Lawrence County team.!

That will leave a bad taste in their mouth, they lost on a last second TD. As with most every team on the schedule, Ashland-Ironton is a rivalry game and their is no love lost between the 2.

B......

I'll take Ashland in a close one. This should be a nice matchup, one that I may take myself in person. Good luck to both teams.

I'll post my prediction tomorrow.

Ashland 28

Ironton 21

Ashlands QB looks very good on Hudl. Should be a good one.

I'll take Ashland 31-17

Ashland 31

Ratliff is probably their best all around athlete IMO. Makes plays with both his feet and arm. Very nice football player indeed.

Their RB Coburn is dangerous to if healthy. I think he may be injured or limited though.

He didn't look too limited last week. If he's still feeling any ill effects from his injury a few weeks ago, he's not letting it show.

If he were going to be in attendance Friday, Bob Lutz wouldn't believe his eyes at the sight of Ironton running... the spread!?!? Fortunately for Ohio's all-time winningest coach, he's enjoying his golden years down in Florida. And for all you traditionalists out there... don't worry, Ironton still lines up in its familiar T formation every now and then.

I'll take Ashland in a close one.

Tomcats 24

Fighting Tigers 20

I hear the injury bug has hit Ashland? Can anyone confirm Carley and Ratliff injuries?

If Ratliff and Carley can play 31-21, Ashland if not 31-21, Ironton
