Bullitt East isn’t what they used to be. But that’s a good win for Spencer. They led pretty much the whole game. Should be a confidence builder.

I love the KOB. And I’ll be out there for a day or two. But this field doesn’t excite me very much.

RPI is completely computer formula based, right? Who you’ve played, who they’ve played, how you fared, how they’ve fared.

Oldham County played Friday night. Albeit a blowout. But the starters played at least 2.5 quarters. Spencer was off. Yes. It was their 3rd game of the week. But these kids, regardless of depth, are conditioned to play 2-3 games a week. Tired legs can’t be the issue this early in the season. Burns is smart enough. I’m sure they aren’t full on practicing when they have a day between games. Light shoot around to break a sweat, film.

I’m sure the Oldham County offense gave Spencer problems. Read and react is tough to guard, and they run it all the way through their program starting with 6th graders.

I’m not on the inside. I don’t know what he values. I only know what I’ve seen when I watch them play. Every coach says “we have to get stops and create offense with defense” but very few actually do. But to your argument about “holding South”, would you say South held Spencer to 55? Because not even Simpson brags about South holding anyone. They don’t guard and they embrace it.

Shootout favors your scorers. If it’s half court, North can run plays for 2 players and dice up the Spencer defense. We both know that Spencer doesn’t value defense. It’s the DNA that Burns comes from. And with their offensive power, they should definitely look to make more games shootouts.

Seneca always has a lot of talent. Just takes some time to pull it together.

Is Conley hurt already? Also, there’s no one on Spencer that’s going to “guard” Powell. Spencer’s best bet is to make this a shootout. They have more scorers than North. But if this becomes a half court execution game, North wins by double digits.

How many shots did it take Draud to get 15? I’ve watched him a few times. If he isn’t hitting, he’ll keep shooting. Can go 10-15 just as easily as he’ll go 0-15.

Doss beat Bullitt East pretty convincingly tonight.

Sisk and Edelen will he the best backcourt in the 7th region their last 3 years of high school.

Short handed Ballard is still Ballard. Even without Renner, Fern Creek was drastically out coached tonight.

My guesses would be: A: it’s still Ballard B: this is more of a prediction of where teams will finish than start.

I’m sure it will be a competitive game... until the opening tip.

Ballard will he missing Rashad Bishop for awhile, and their big guy transfer hasn’t been ruled eligible as of today.
