Cats Pause 10th Region rankings
Agree Maddox is an excellent shooter and has great range. While he did indeed improve his ball handling last season he was still very turnover prone. I want to see if he improved on that over this past summer before i give him a top 10 nod. If he does break the top 10 who do you take off the list?

How Does Hinson keep comimg up in a girls thread :ohbrother: Everyone is so quick to assume Bracken will struggle with a new coach. Why? Could the same argument be made for Mason Co. and Cox? Bracken may very well struggle out of the gate that is yet to be determined. So could Mason Co. as well. Not taking anthing away from Cox but he is a new coach just like Bradshaw no matter where you are there will be a learning curve. A team is only as good as their leader. Piper had the Lady Royals playing at a high level and she was let go for reasons other than coaching I get that, but who knows if Cox will have the same chemestry with those girls as Piper did. Same goes with Bracken. Sometimes making a change like both schools did could be the best thing the schools ever do, but on the flip side it could be a disaster. Only time will tell on both teams. But to assume that Mason will not miss a beat and Bracken will struggle all year is just crazy talk at this point.

Agree with your favorites for the 10th, but dont be suprised to see Bracken Co. make some noise. I think many on here are overlooking them.

10th Region Cats Pause
I agree with this list as of right now, but look to see some movement as the season progresses. Cummins will be the best player in the 10th preseason midseason and postseason.

10th region?
Who besides Williams do the Royals have coming back? He will be their best player next season, but i think they are still 2nd place in their district. Bracken returns the entire team from last season the defeated the Royals 3 times last year. Scott returns seversl good players from last years championship team that made alot of noise at state. Harrison has several experienced players returning. While I am with you that thr Royals will be in the top 5-8 range all season they will have their work cut out for them to make it to state. My way to early prediction for district champs in 2016 are Scott, Harrison, Bracken, and Bourbon

10th Region: Rank The Districts
Not insinuating anything here. Just a question as to your views of the politics of it all. Just trying to get your opnion on the matter. Didnt mean to get your feathers all ruffled. In all honesty I havent a clue as to what all did or did not go down. So thats why I asked. It obviously wasnt a win-loss performance issue, so there had to be some behind the scenes issues there. In the grand scheme of things its all mute now, but you think someone would clear the air and actually give some sort of reasoning besides moving in a new direction. Did PK give them a reason to want to go in a new direction? Or did the system just feel a change was needed? I see where Bracken County has several new coaches acrosss the board High school and Middle school. So maybe it was just a minor purge in the system and PK was the biggest name on the list. :idunno:

Dontaie Allen 6'4" freshman From Pendleton County had a big summer!
He is a special talent. I could see him transfering to an elite program before his high school career is done. Maybe as soon as the 2016-2017 season. Then again he could very well stay at PC, guess it depends on how strong they are going to be in the region and if they have a chance of competeing for a region and state title.

I was hoping @AHSPanther23 could elaborate on the politics theory. Would very interested to hear that aspect of it. Have not really looked at it from that aspect myself. :thumb:

10th Region: Rank The Districts
And I'm trying to see your logic here? Bradshaw has a lot more talent to work with in his first year with at Bracken Co. than Kelsch has at Robertson Co. Not trying to sound negative here I really am wondering.

1A #10 Bishop Brossart at Bracken County Predictions
On paper Brossart I assume would be favored. Its all gonna come down to the front lines I feel. Can those big boys for Bracken get in the backfield and cause disruption and on the same token can those big boys for Bracken get out and block and create running lanes? Like most football games i believe which ever team wins the battle in the trenches will win. Im pulling for Bracken. Senior night tonight so you know these boys want to get the W for those seniors.

10th Region: Rank The Districts
Several new coaches indeed. Cox at Mason and Bradshaw at Bracken both inherited pretty good teams. Had lots of success last season with essentially the same teams coming back. Bray at Augusta come in as the well is starting to run dry. But there still a few decent guards down there to win some games against the bottom half of the regions teams. Kelsch at Robertson has to have gotten the shortest straw. Will definitely be a test to the veteran coach. Player development will definitely be a focus for him there. Maybe one area that he has not relied on while he was at Bracken, due to the talent he had while there, so we should see how well he can develop players because it will be vital to the success or lack of success he experiences at RCHS.

2015-16 10th Region
While I firmly agree with your assesment on the Mustangs, coming out of thr 37th is going to be a tall test to say the least. They are the #3 preseason team in that district. And while having several seniors the past couple years have been down years by Bishop Brossart standards. They will be in the All A hunt as its about as wide open as its been in many years. Would not be suprised if they make the trip to Frankfort. But I could say that about Paris, Augusta, or Bracken as well. Im looking forward to see how this seasons Mustangs perform. Its all about seeding and distirct seeding games in the 37th so who knows a key win here or there could be big for Brossart. :thumb:
