All in All I think this is really accurate in terms of pre-season rankings. Also, I think the top 3 players in the region are all interchangeable and could see any of these 3 being the best player in the region at season end!

Gonna be interesting regular season games this year, Mason goes to Campbell (1/30) and GRC (1/9) and Scott (2/11) come to Mason.

I agree with this list as of right now, but look to see some movement as the season progresses. Cummins will be the best player in the 10th preseason midseason and postseason.

I think Nicholas has the makings to climb the list as well.

Bailey made be the best Offensive player in the tenth (Top Avg) but may not be best overall. Mason will put O'Mara on the others team best player night after night. Bracken will put Bailey on the non-pentrating PG to keep here in the game. Big Difference!!!

The best player doesn't always score the most points. Don't get me wrong Cummins is a really good player but she doesn't play the defense that O'Mara or Clos does. I think O'Mara and Clos are the two best overall players in the Region. But that's just my opinion. It's not worth much.

Feels as if people are really forget the aspects of the best overall player. Yes scoring points is great but what else does that individual do to not only make themself a better player but make their entire team better.

 

For example: Darius Miller was 2008 Mr. Basketball and rightfully so, but he didn't go out and score 30+ a game, he deferred to the other guys and played stellar defense on the opponents best player. When his team needed him then he would take over a game. That's what makes great players great. IMO.

Don't know how many times I have said this. When I ask how a player did, the reply I get is always the points they did or did not score. Give me player that does all the little things that makes the other players better and helps their team win. Give me a player like O'Mara and I will take them every time.

Indeed you are correct

Cummins will by far be the leading scorer in the 10th, but she also has to carry her team a lot more so than O'Mara and even Clos. I think when you take in consideration on who is the best OVERALL player in the region, O'Mara will be hard to beat.

Understand things get crowded but not easy to leave off a Taylor Jolly from CC and a Sydney Shannon from BB from the list.
