  1. Pendleton 80 Bracken 67 A full strength Pendleton team is too much for a weakens Polar Bear squad. I'm also sure that now the Wildcats are at full strength that Coach Belcher will have a pretty solid game plan for Crawford with Hamilton and Lippert being out.
  2. 1. Mason 2. Campbell 3. Scott 4. GRC 5. Bracken 6. Brossart 7. Montgomery 8. Nicholas 9. Pendleton 10. Bourbon
  3. Did the same thing to Mason back in December, pure stroke. From what I've heard Lippert's ankle injury is pretty severe, hope the kids alright.
  4. I mean I'd rather them lose this game in January than in March. Last year GRC beat them at GRC in January then the Lady Royals got the best of them in March. Sometimes a loss like this gets the attention of some people.
  5. Antrobus has the purest free-throw shot I've seen in a while. I enjoy watching the kid play. But a good road win for the Royals even if they did blow an 11 point game in the final few minutes.
  6. Congrats to Campbell on a well played game. Listened to Travis Scaggs while I was in Morehead watching the Royals and Vikings play. Luckily for Mason this game essentially means nothing and takes the target off of their back, but they have to get back into the rhythm of things. Been out of sort since they ran through the tournament in Louisville.
  7. It's kinda funny how anytime Mason Co pulls out a close home game there's always the ones who say "homecoming" or "why not play away from Maysville." The Lady Royals played Murray (a top 10 team) on a neutral court and won, played Butler (top 4 team) on a neutral court and lost by 8, then East Carter (a very underrated team) on the neutral court and won by double digits. I mean cmon guys, can't we just give credit where credit is due? These girls are living a dream they've had since 1st and 2nd grade.
  8. If you have a Twitter, Evan Dennison or Travis Scaggs tweet them or you can always listen online at Soft96.com. I'm not sure if it'll be on FM or AM tonight though.
  9. O'Mara will be playing tonight. Therefore my prediction is Mason Co by 8-10ish. I think they have a chip on their shoulder after the loss at Holmes.
  10. I haven't heard yet if O'Mara is playing yet or not.
  11. The Lady Pioneers make the trip down the AA to face the Lady Royals tonight in the Fieldhouse. Who wins and why?
  12. Don't get your hopes up since they're playing away from the Igloo.
  13. O'Mara, Frodge and Boone should all be on everyone's list at some point.
  14. How's Mr. Antrobus doing as a Viking? I heard he had a rough start but haven't really heard much since then. I predicted at the beginning of the season that Rowan would win the 16th if he got settled in and got things going.
  15. No loss is a good loss. Yes it happens but when it's a give away like this it's unacceptable. But then again, that's the difference in the mindsets from those of higher programs than those who have not had much sucess.
  16. At one point they were 32% I'm not exactly sure what the final number was on it. I just happened to catch his post game talk with Danny Weddle and he was talking about lack of practice and effort from a few of the guys.
  17. Coach Biggs' was not happy with free throw shooting tonight. That was pretty much the difference maker in tonight's game.
  18. Agree 100%, GRC is much better than they are given credit for.
  19. Augusta has the mental advantage, Paris has the athletic advantage. That being said Greyhounds by 12. #HashtagsNeedToStayOnTwitterNotBGP
  20. If I recall correctly only one of those games were away from the Igloo and it was the 1st game of the year. Home court advantage is a big difference. The 10th just needs some consistency. Mason, Campbell, Montgomery, and Paris IMO are the top teams. Yes the Royals have been beaten by 2 of those teams by double digits but the games were really close until the last 2 minutes of game time when they started fouling to try to extend the game. GRC, Scott, and Brossart can't be counted out because they've proven they can beat the top teams. Pendleton, Bracken, and Augusta can play with the top teams but it takes a extremely big effort and poor play from the opposing team to pull the upset. Plus all 3 have really really good coaches. But when it comes down to it I think the Championship will be between the Camels, Indians, Hounds, and Royals.
  21. I said a few weeks ago that GRC would turn some heads and a few of you thought I was crazy. Never underestimate Robbie Graham's squads.
  22. I was at the game, Robertson Co really doesn't have any other scoring options other than Burden. The Devils also played a 6th grader really early in the game. Gonna be a rough couple of years for them sadly.
  23. Disappointing loss for the Lady Royals but after having a week off I can see why they came out a little sluggish. Onto the next!
  24. I thought the Royals came out flat from the beginning. Unfortunatley these two teams won't meet again unless it's in the post season but I really feel like they're about the same when playing well.
  25. This is the most accurate list I've seen. Great Job!
