  1. I think last year just spoiled us a bit too, Mason beating Campbell on a buzzer beater, Augusta upsetting Scott and Montgomery, Paris blowing a 19 point lead to Mason County and then the 39th District Championship rematch. I don't look for the Campbell/Bracken game to be close but Paris/Scott should be good and the Championship game.
  2. Agree, if it was Pendleton&Nicholas I feel like games would've been better.
  3. Only right to do so, common decency.
  4. Campbell proved Wednesday that whoever "sets the tone" doesn't matter, against a team much better than Bracken. This game could be close at halftime, but the Camels win by 10+ regardless.
  5. Buddy Biggs said in an interview after the loss to Scott High last night in the 10th Region Quarterfinal -"I'm not going anywhere."
  6. But it's even more of Scott's bread and butter, they don't have a player over 6'1 and go deeper than Mason Co. There's teams the Royals can get away with running and gunning with, but Scott isn't one of those teams.
  7. I don't think anyone blamed the officials for the loss, just that there were questionable calls, but that's every game. I think MC lost because they didn't slow the game down force Scott to play half court, Scott is just too good to run and gun with and MC didn't have the horses to do so. Also I will applaud Biggs' coaching decision to keep playing Dunnaway in the 1st and 2nd quarter with two fouls MC had to have him in the game or things would've gotten ugly had he been forced to sit.
  8. The last charge on Dunnaway was the momentum changer, anytime the Royals got close Scott always had an answer. Best of luck to the Eagles the rest of the way, Ohmer is a BALLER.
  9. Agree 100%, this will be a tuneup for the Lady Cards for Saturday night. I look for the score to be kinda close though as I expect Robbie Graham to use his bench as much as possible to save the starters.
  10. It never stops. We've been hearing how great this senior class was since they were in diapers (some still might be) and once again here we are, no All A Region Championship, no district championship, and would've been a first round knock out had they not drawn the 2nd worst team in the tournament.
  11. People in that county think he's the next best thing since sliced bread. Only way he leaves Bracken is if he does it willingly to go someplace else.
  12. Well you're just a boy Opie, we wouldn't expect much more.
  13. 1 year ago today Pig Williams hit the game winning 3 point shot that sent the Royals onto the semifinals and sent the back to back 10th Region Champions home. Do the Royals have another upset brewing? Or will Scott end their season? WFTM - Check out Danny Weddle's call from last night's...
  14. Two things to this game.... A- It's not in Brooksville B- Campbell has a little more motivation and will try to bury the Polar Bears early. Campbell's defense is just way too much for the Polar Bears to keep it close. Campbell 67- Bracken 48
  15. I think the key for Campbell County in this is to stay out of foul trouble, if they have to play their bench a lot it won't be good for them, but if their starters can play majority of the game they have a good shot.
  16. They'll be coming for your head after this prediction.
  17. Watch out folks, the place down under might freeze tonight.
  18. Agree 100%, you can't allow a player to drive 3/4 the length of the court like that. Not one of Fromeyer's best coaching jobs.
  19. And now you know how everyone feels when the Bracken County faithful get on threads and complain about officiating after losses!!!!
  20. Just curious, is Larry Kendall's seat getting hot?
  21. This matchup also features the past two Regional Champions, Mason Co in 2015 and Campbell in 2016.
