  1. Not bias, I just believe that UGA and Bama are the two best teams in the country and nobody is close to them.
  2. 5- USC 3- Penn State 3- UCF 1- Indiana 1- UCLA 1- Mississippi State 1- Cincinnati 1- Florida State 1- Oklahoma State 1- Georgia Tech Tiebreaker- 65
  3. It'll be interesting to see how Canada performs at GRC compared to how he did at MoCo. Also: I know it is hard to rank Isaiah Garrison due to the issues he had last season that lead to him not longer being a part of the MC Basketball team, but if he is indeed back and to the level he was his sophomore year then he is most definitely a top 10 player in the 10th and would secure Mason County's spot as the #2 team in the Region behind GRC. The backcourt of Lofton/Dunnaway/Garrison would be tough to handle at full strength and makes MC dangerous if they can get a solid performance from the front court of Perkins, Boyd, and Stewart.
  4. Disagree, this year the SEC Championship game should be the National Championship game IMO and I hope we get to see a 2nd rematch between Alabama and Georgia in Atlanta since the SEC and National Championship are both in the new Georgia Dome.
  5. THANK YOU! I don't understand the logic that just because you're the 2nd best you deserve to play in the Region. Where I come from it's not okay to be 2nd best and anything less than 1st is unacceptable. Bracken County throwing a hissy fit because they're the 2nd best team in the district and not getting to play in the Region is the equivalent of receiving a participation trophy.
  6. I’m not going to complain because I like the 4 team playoff a lot more than the BCS, but I would like to see it be expanded to 8. I think Georgia is the 2nd best team in the country this year behind Alabama but chances are they both won’t make it to the playoffs like they deserve if they both make it to the SEC Championship game undefeated.
  7. Head has gotten its hopes up many times and refuses to let it happen again.
  8. Heart says Kentucky, head says Mississippi State.
  9. You’re right he did, they also beat Mason Co in 2016 with Pig Williams suspended and then Mason County once again won Region. I don’t know if you’ve notice a common trend here, but it all leads to the regular season meaning nothing. Proof is in the pudding.
  10. Summer ball means nothing bud, and he dropped 51 on Scott in the beginning of January, PC then ended up losing to a mediocre Harrison Co team in the 1st round of District. Mason County and GRC are both too athletic and too fast for PC.
  11. Quite comical there Wildcatpride, other than Allen PC doesn’t have anything. Jake Ohmer couldn’t even win Region by himself, you must have a supporting cast that can help which PC doesn’t. Coach Belcher is a good coach but doesn’t have all the pieces he needs to be successful.
  12. Did you not understand what I said? If I'm the commissioner of the SEC do I only want 3 good teams or do I want 5-8? Yeah it's fine and dandy that Bama, Auburn, and Georgia are good, but I don't want Tennessee, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Ole Miss, or Mississippi State being average or mediocre.
  13. It needs all it can get IMO. With UT, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Arkansas all being the bottom of the SEC and Florida not being the normal Florida you need Tennessee to be solid. I mean you have UK and Vandy working their way up and Georgia becoming a Title contender you just need to have the balance. Other than Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia, the rest of the conference is average or mediocre.
  14. 5- Florida 3- Michigan 3- Auburn 1- Oklahoma 1- South Carolina 1- Stanford 1- UCLA 1- Vanderbilt 1- West Virginia 1- Maryland Tiebreaker- 58
  15. I think Les is a good coach, IMO LSU is going to regret firing him. The SEC needs UT to be UT and to get a good coach. Outside of Saban and maybe Kirby Smart the SEC doesn't really have the great coaches like it used to which is why I think they're going through a slump.
  16. Those numbers are quite insane. If you have Diallo, Gilgeous-Alexander, Washington, Knox and Richards on the court together you have 5 guys on the court with wingspans over 7 foot and can rotate Vanderbilt and SKJ in who are both about 7’ and then you have Gabrielle who’s at 6’11.
  17. Anyone else watch the pro day last night from Rupp Arena? Couple things I notice was Calipari did A LOT of coaching compared to last year, during the 3-3 and 4-4 he really coached a lot. Gilgeous-Alexander's wingspan is INSANE, Cal mentioned it several times last night while he was coaching offense and defense. Diallo is very very explosive, he and Gabreille both were shooting the ball well last night. This team has the potential to be very very good on defense, they're long, athletic, and very fast. Lastly they are injured; Baker and Vanderbilt did not participate last night due to injury and Wynyard went down during the workout with an injury. At the end of the program on SEC Network Coach Cal also said Drake would be at Big Blue Madness! Glad I have tickets. :ylsuper:
  18. Tennessee needs a coach that will bring excitement back to the program, I think they could get that with Chip Kelly, I don't think Petrino or Fisher would be smart hires.
  19. Not exactly, I think the level of competition is just going down compared to years past. From 2010-2013 it was always tough with hard/fast greens and then the Bermuda rough was really thick to where if you hit it in you were essentially chipping out. Then in 2014, 2015, and 2016 it wasn't set up near as difficult, the greens weren't as firm and the rough wasn't as thick.
  20. I don't wanna cause any trouble in Cardinal Country, oh who am I kidding OF COURSE I DO, anyway GRC isn't going to have a cake walk this year like they probably expected. I'm honestly glad that Lexi Stapleton went to Campbell Co just to give GRC a taste of their own medicine.
  21. Gosh dang it, we agree on something... :ohbrother: I don't really understand the hype on Mason Burden, honestly I don't even think he's the best player on his. Eli Dotson who I believe is a freshman has way more talent and potential than Burden does IMO. I don't mean any disrespect to Burden at all, he's a solid player, just don't see or understand the top 10 hype.
  22. I believe it was a Seziure, that’s what Tom Leach said at least.
  23. I like UK’s chances of containing Lamar more than I do UofL’s chances of containing the UK offense because that defense is awful... Bobby will be looking for another job after 2 straight losses to the Cats and his buddy Tommy Boy being fired as AD as well.
  24. I’ll be shocked if UK doesn’t finish 9-3. I can’t really see them losing to UT, Ole Miss, and Vandy. But then again it is Kentucky football so nothing would shock me. I do think they’ll beat UofL, they’re only as good as Lamar is and as long as UK stays heathy I see them winning.
