Auburn has 2 losses (at Clemson and at LSU) because their QB and offensive line struggled early in the year, now that they got their crap together you see what's happening. Georgia and Alabama's only loss was at Auburn when the Tiger's were playing their best. I don't believe either of the 3 teams by any means "suck", just victims of playing in the SEC.

This..... There's not a dominate team in college basketball this year, Duke will fall off the high horse sooner or later. Texas and Florida both should have done it, however Duke doesn't play another good team until conference play so we will continue to hear how good they are until then.

You don't follow basketball much do ya? Florida and Texas A&M have had good teams the last few years, and Florida since Billy Donovan arrived. Yeah, Kentucky may win the SEC more years than not but let's not act like it's a cake walk every single year, this year especially.

IMO you can’t say that at the time of that Florida State game they were a bad team, they’re now a bad team because of injuries. If their QB doesn’t get hurt I think they’re still a top 20 team at worst. I can forgive Alabama’s one loss on the road at Auburn a lot more than I can OSU’s road blow out loss to Iowa and then blowout loss to Oklahoma at home.

You think OSU deserves to be in over Alabama?

Winner gets in the playoffs and hopefully Alabama does as well, IMO the SEC has 3 of the 5 best teams in the country with Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, and the Oklahoma and Clemson. As far as the game, I'll post my prediction later this week.

Tennessee didn't hire Schiano because the fans went a-wall over the fact he may have known about the Sandusky stuff without any physical proof, I can't imagine what they'd do if they hired an AD that had experienced so many scandals at UofL. If I'm any program I am staying away from Jurich until the smoke clears.

So you're telling me you don't like to see other teams in the Big 10 succeed? If I'm OSU I want my conference to be good that way my wins are more meaningful than those from other conferences. My foot, Dabo Sweeney says all the time how the ACC is the best conference in football.

You can only argue that Malzahn, Muschamp, and Ogeron aren't, and depending upon the end of this season you may not even be able to argue Malzahn.

So if Jimbo does go to Texas A&M..... Lane Kiffin to FSU???

I think Alabama is in the top 4 seeds as well, guard play means a lot come March and Collin Sexton is one of the best if not the best.

This comes from Chris Landry who ESPN Booger said has more inside knowledge on it than anyone: "I have NOT been able to CONFIRM but Administrators at FLORIDA STATE tell me that they get the feeling that JIMBO FISHER is going to take the TEXAS A&M job and are preparing if that will happen...." Sounding more and more like Jimbo will be joining the SEC.

Well considering the last 5+ years the SEC had been called the weakest of the Power 5 conferences, now this year they're arguably the best. I find that satisfying as a fan of the SEC.

Think they might edge out the ACC this season for the best conference. Kentucky, Florida, Texas A&M, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Georgia are all NCAA tournament teams. I've been really impressed with Florida and Texas A&M thus far.

NCAA College Basketball Polls, College Basketball Rankings, NCAA Basketball Polls - ESPN Duke remains #1, Notre Dame jumped to #5 and Arizona went from being ranked #2 to now unranked. The SEC and ACC each have 3 teams in the top 5, Duke 1, Notre Dame 5, Miami 10 and Florida 6, Kentucky 7, Texas A&M 9. I myself am shocked Alabama didn't come up in the rankings after almost beating #12 Minnesota while playing the final 10:32 of the game with 3 players.

I don't get how half of them are above average at best? I think Mullen will do big things at Florida, Smart is already doing good things at UGA, Muschamp has South Carolina moving in the right direction, Auburn is probably playing the best of anyone in the country at the moment, and Fisher and Kiffin are going to turn any program around. The worst coach on that list is probably Ogeron.

I think that 2OT game vs. Gonzaga hurt the Gators coming down the stretch in this one, I know they had Saturday off but still rough. Also Florida was without their best big man, with him I think they win this game by 8-10 points.
